I bought a $250 pair of broken Astro a50s from this store. I brought it back within 5 days of purchasing to get a new pair, only to be told an extra 20 dollars had to be added to the original price I bought them for if I wanted a new pair sent to my house because âthe price online went up since I had purchased themâ. Of course, I asked for my money back instead to go purchase the headphones somewhere else. about 40 minutes after leaving the store, the same girl that had helped me called me accusing me of stealing because the serial number on the headset did not match the serial number on the box. I couldnât believe what I was hearing. I paid $250 for a nice pair of headphones that were obviously defective, and it is not my fault that the store did not make sure the product was in the right package before reselling it to me. I got falsely accused of being sketchy when I just wanted to buy a nice pair of headphones from gamestop, and the associate told me to not return to that store. Well she will not have to worry about that because gamestop in griffin sucks. Go somewhere else. the prices will be cheaper, the return policies will be better, you will actually get a product that works and the workers will not call your personal phone accusing you of something that you werenât even...
   Read moreMy 13 year old nephew went into this location looking for a headset told them what system he had. He purchased what they recommended. He got home and it wasnt right.
He returns with receipt in hand a few days later seeking a refund and they are trying to tell him he cannot return it and only want to offer him used trade in price on it since it had been opened.
The only thing that kept this from being new was the packaging plastic that had to be opened. Otherwise it was in pristine condition.
He comes out to the car knowing something isnt right and tells us what was said.
We go back inside the store and without my nephew to see if we can figure out the issue because the receipt states game accessories may be returned within 30 days.
We tell him we need to return this for a full refund it is new and he does so with no fuss. I said how come you wouldn't return this for my nephew and he claims I wasnt the one that spoke with him.
I truly feel that due to his age they were trying to take advantage of him and his money. It may have bee a simple misunderstanding but this experience really put me off from doing any more shopping...

He called another customer back to the counter to check her out but proceeds to discuss the game she is purchasing for at least ten minutes. She wasn't asking him questions, he was asking her where she was in the game and telling her where he was, etc while I stand there. When he finally finished, he proceeds to tell me the box is only the display and they are sold out! I told him it would have been nice to know that before I stood here all this time. His reply, I'm sorry I was TOO BUSY helping "her." He wasn't helping her; just carrying on a conversation. And why are displays in shelf without a sign stating they are currently sold out.
