DO NOT TAKE YOUR WATCHES HERE!!! I had taken three fossil watches here for battery replacement all of which were in working order beforehand. The young lady told me that one of my watches was broken and would need repair only to find out later from another jeweler that it was fine. My more expensive watch had the battery replaced only to work for an hour or so and then stopped. When I took the watch back they said it too was broken. Unfortunately the second jeweler informed me that the gasket was not put back and now I would have to send to the manufacturer for repair. The third watch fortunately was working after my SECOND trip here and I still remain sceptical that it was put back together correctly. All in all I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and will never recommend that anyone go here unless they want to buy overpriced cheap costume jewelry and biker rings. I would have been okay if I was told they did not work on these particular brand of watches. In fact I would have greatly appreciated it instead of being mislead and now having to repair issues that were not there before. Bottom line...
Read moreIn the past I have had good things to say about Griffin Jewelers, I have even sent my friends and family there for different things, (est. $ 1,200) in sales. I recently took in a gold necklace with two irreplaceable charms that belonged to my father who passed three years ago. The necklace had broke a link. I was quoted $ 24 which I thought was very high but the necklace and charm where very important to me so I agreed to pay. They also told me they would clean everything. I returned to pick up the necklace and charms and immediately put them on. The next day I notice one of the charms was missing. I was very upset to lose this charm. I went back to the store and explained what happen and asked if I can purchase a new one "at cost" (the store would not be out of pocket one penny) They refused saying "it was not their problem/fault" and quoted me $ 325 to replace the charm. I found the same charm on eBay, for $ 160. I will never give Griffin Jewelers any of my business, nor recommended them to friends and family ever again....
Read moreI had a couple of diamonds of my grandmothers who passed away. I took them in and Raymond and Dana discovered that they were not what my family said they were. So Dana and Raymond sent one of my grandmothers diamonds to Atlanta for testing at no charge to me. When we found out what my grandmothers diamonds were Dana educated me on the stones that I had. We put one of them in a white gold setting. I also had a diamond ring that was three rings saughtered together and they took them apart for me at a fraction of the cost other jewelers would charge. Dana and Raymond are honest and helpful. They will bend their backs to help someone in need. I 100% agree that I am a...
