Good City Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Griffin

Recently moved to Griffin a month ago and after reading the reviews, this restaurant seemed to be the best for the location. I usually enjoy holes in the wall better than big fancy places; however, we were extremely disappointed. The first time, we walked in 15 minutes before 12:00pm (did not really know their business hours), the door was opened, the big white girl behind the counter saw us, never greeted us as if we did not exist, she obviously had poor customer service skills because we had to come back at noon. When we returned (most people probably would not), we realized how dark and outdated the decor was. Their menu suggested that their customers are stupid, for instance it said: "if you want a large portion, say the word: large"...really??? Although the food tasted decent, it did not look very appetizing. The restaurant would probably do better without the 2 Caucasian, grumpy waitresses who can careless about their customers. We thought maybe they had a bad day so we went back a second time to experience an even worse service from the same 2 waitresses. Very bad experience! My husband went through the drive thru, paid, and was told to pull forward. He waited in the car for over 15 minutes before going inside to check on our order. There were 3 different people telling him he didn’t pay so they weren’t giving him his order. He looked at the girl who had taken and run his debit card and asked her to tell the other people who were standing there that she had taken his card already. She started saying, “ Blue car! Blue car!” My husband stared incredulously wondering how much wierder can this get? The Asian woman started screaming that she was going to call the police. My husband told her to go ahead and call them when an Asian man came out and yelled at the women to just give him the food. The woman was still screaming, “ He no pay! He no pay!” The man again told the two women to give him the food. My husband, knowing he had paid already took the bag and left. After relaying the story to me, I looked at my bank website and he had paid!!! I called the restaurant and told them we will never go back again! Never, never ,...

This place is terrible. My husband & I found them on google & the stars were decent so we decided to try it. As soon as we walked in the man was very rude. Telling us that he was ready to close & rushing us to order. The lady at the counter was also very rude. We grabbed a menu to see what they had & she was huffing. My husband asked a question that was apparently printed on the back of the menu (they have a rules page on their menu) so she grabbed the menu & turned it over. We placed our order & sat down. We could hear the guy hassling seated customers about tipping before even getting their orders also complaining about how he wants to hurry up & close. Once we got our food it wasn't good at all. There are no vegetables in the fried rice if you want vegetables you have to pay $3 more. There was no sesame on the sesame chicken. The rice was dry & tasteless. We will definitely...
