Hammy Downs — Local services in Grover

this review is long over due! first i want to say thank you to the owner. years ago when i first stepped foot into their building on main street in grover i was impressed by their selection and their kindness. my husband and i were shopping for our first grand baby and i was so very hesitant to buy anything from a second hand store. but noah (the owner) my husband and i sat and talked for what seemed like hours about all of our options as he walked us through how to use baby equipment. he was so reassuring and patient with us. right then i knew hammy downs was a trustworthy and reliable source for all of my grand babies needs. since then we’ve been regulars. we have saved thousands of dollars shopping, and trading with hammys. most recently i went to the store on a day they were closed. noah just so happened to be there walking out the door (they were getting ready for one of their paloozas) i needed a car seat desperately and couldn’t afford to spend $300 on one from walmart. not only did he let me in the store to let me pick the seat i wanted, one of the other employees actually installed it in the car for me. let’s not even talk about how cheap the seat was! these people have been such a blessing to so many moms and dads, and grandmas and grandpas! shopping anywhere else is just silly. when’s the last time someone at walmart answered questions or demonstrated how to use something, helped you to your car or remembered your name!? so again, thank you noah, thank you hammy downs, thank you...

WOW! Blown away, just floored, my flabbers have been gasted! Where to start? Let’s make a list- incredible prices, clean and organized, easy to shop and find literally anything you could ever need for a kid, the people working there are legit heaven sent, the trade system is so easy. Omg the trade system! Let’s elaborate on that for a second, I took a tote of clothes my kids couldn’t wear anymore to two different kids stores before a mom in the second store told me about Hammy Downs. The offers that I got at the other stores were just insultingly low. I brought that same tote here to Hammy Downs and got almost twice the offer! But the best part was the prices in here are so much lower! So that offer got me like three times the amount I would have gotten if I would have shopped elsewhere. These people instantly make you feel welcomed, call you family, and save you time and money. So, that being said,...

SO CLEAN AND ORGANIZED! PHENOMENAL PRICES! I’ve been shopping here for three years now. These people are the kindest most welcoming and wonderful people i’ve ever met at any business anywhere ever! Since the day i started shopping here I’ve never looked back. Tell me where else you can find stain free, clean, name brands for less….dont worry I’ll wait…because you can’t! I’ve personally seen these people help those in need, giving from the heart and helping mothers in the community. they give away items all the time where other places would try to make a quick buck. they have new and gently used items for a steal! and the best part is they aren’t a corporation, the money they offer people stays right here in our community. why would you shop anywhere else? i could not recommend hammy downs more. if your on the fence or unsure, just go, do it. you’ll instantly...
