What is there to say about a cannabis dispensary as awesome as this one? What is it, that makes this store more special than the others? It's a combination of things that keeps me going back to this store. To start, the products sold there are top shelf. My favorite product is the flower. I keep things old school. I love the nostalgia that comes from taking premium nuggets, pressing them into a grinder, turning that grinder lid, smelling that sweet, stinky, goodness, packing a phat bowl and/or pre roll, light it up and feel all the stress, anxiety and worries go away. And as a bonus, all the chronic pain from years of destroying my back and body eases away without a fight. I have tried many other dispensaries and products from else where. I searched for a long time for a store that could fulfill my needs. I stopped searching when I found this store. I drive 30 mins each way just to go to this store. Are there other stores on the way? Yes. But Apotheca Shelby has earned my loyalty. And I got much love for this store. And when I say store, I don't mean the building. I mean the products and the people. Oh yeah the people. The other key piece that makes this store special. The Heart of the store is composed of 3 employees. GOOD JOB HUMAN RESOURCES!!! I mean if you guys would just copy and paste these 3 awesome women at all your locations, I would buy stock in the company. TAKE MY MONEY! I'll start with Monica. Monica is the Manager of this location. Not the Boss, but the Manager. I know the difference between a Boss and a leader. And I can tell she is a leader. Abby. Abby is the calm, warm soothing energy you feel when she is there. You can feel the positive energy from the parking lot.I don't care what kind of day you are having, when you see Abby, you can't help but smile. It's contagious. The smile she carries with her all day is one that says, "It's going to be okay." Bonnie. Bonnie is the most patient person I've come to know in a while. Not many like her left. A "dying breed" if you will. Having bad day or feeling down? Bonnie will listen. It's very natural and easy to start having a conversation with her. Though her job is not a therapist, she could easily be one. It doesn't matter who you are, Bonnie sincerely cares about and loves people. All 3 are very professional, respectful and passionate about what they do. I see to them, it's not just a job, but a lifestyle. They have a love for this product and believe in what it can do and what it has done for millions of people. And their knowledge on the subject matter is impeccable. I know you 3 are going to do great things in life and hopefully with this company. And I hope Apotheca management sees just how valuable you all are. Some of the crew came into the restaurant I worked at and they were all very nice and we noticed the shirts so I went in to their shop a day later. Very glad I did. The staff was super knowledgeable and took probably literally 15 min to just answer some of my questions and clarify things for me (I’m kind of thick so this isn’t an easy task) they have what I would consider to be an extraordinary selection. I feel like I just woke up today and went from being a criminal, to a law abiding citizen simply by walking in the door to their shop. That’s huge man, that’s a life changer. What really, really stood out to be is when I bought a Kratom drink they took a minute to warn be about some of the potential side effects. Now I have plenty of experience with the unpleasant side effects of over consumption, but no other tobacco shop in my entire life has ever taken the 30 seconds to warn me about how to properly use that substance. This stood out to me, because they could have potentially lost that sale, but were more concerned with my safety. So in short, this seems like a wonderful collection of employees, running a wonderful business, and by shopping there I never have to break the law again. Def...

I went here yesterday with my sister who is 22 with a south carolina license, she got it switched over when she was 18, and the license is valid for 10 years. The license is still vertical with all of her information being vertical. Her license obviously saying she was 22 was declined because it "didn't look right" the woman proceeded to say how the license looked weird and said "Yeah I'm not losing my job over this so I'm not taking it or selling you anything" with an irritated and annoyed tone without even scanning the license.
