I had been looking forward to coming here for a long time, but I was so disappointed by how rude the staff were. I was carrying some to go food I had just gotten and I had already selected all of my items and was about to pay. One of their employees was incredibly sick, absolutely should not be at work, and was coughing all over everything. A new employee came out and immediately told me that I couldn’t have food in the store and I had to leave. There are no signs anywhere at the entrance to the store stating that food is not allowed. I wasn’t actively eating the food. I was just holding it. I couldn’t even eat it if I wanted to, because I needed to wear a mask, because of this sick employee. This man was so abrupt, dismissive, and just plain rude. He told me he would rather me leave than stay and pay for the items I had already selected. What a disappointment. Adding a photo of the store entrance that says nothing about food.

Really cute mom and pop shop. Being born in Hong Kong, walking in there and seeing all those treats brings me back to my childhood. Will be going there often to pick up a few things at a time to try everything! They also sell lots of small things for around the house. Cute place to find small gifts for people. Anybody else grew up overseas or even Canada, got to check this place out.

I loved looking around this store, so much to see although I didn't buy anything this time. A lot of variety in the merchandise. Since cute original things here. You have to park on the street or in a metered lot so sometimes it can be difficult to park when there's an event going on like there was. Decent prices.

Completely terrible experience here. I have been visiting for years, but today will be the last time. And after reading other reviews I can see this was not an isolated event. Came in with my young son. He is speech delayed so he typically points at things alot more than other kids. He touched NOTHING. I reminded him not to as well. I picked up a stuffed squirrel to show him, it was on the floor. He liked it but before I could even think about paying $23 for a 6" stuffed squirrel the cashier decided to cause a scene in front of everyone yelling about watching out for boxes (which were everywhere). We didn't step on anything. The squirrel was the only thing I touched He had a massive attitude and everyone was staring at us. My poor kid gets enough greif for having a difficult time communicating.

I get there are unruly kids who break things. I get people are short staffed. I work in retail. This was unnecessary. If you hate kids congrats on being rude to the most vulnerable among us. If you hate a whole group of people maybe find a new profession. I was told that just after this the cashier told someone on the phone that they couldn't take the call and hung up.

I know the owners likely don't even care what I think. But honestly save your money. I don't want to spend a dime with a company that acts this way...

Came into the store looking to purchase because of my Welsh background. Unfortunately it seems like they either watch the cameras in the back or stalk you. Was holding a crepe from a few stores down (which was 10/10 from Tswirl) and the old man (who I'm guessing is the owner because he thinks he can talk to people like that) barged from the back room as were looking at snacks saying "NO DRINKS OR FOOD ALLOWED" like i was a small child. My boyfriend and I shuffled out. There was no sign as previous reviews have stated. The cashier never told us either and we were there for a good 10 minutes looking at things where she could've explained to us that food wasn't allowed in there. If we were told more politely, we might've purchased something, but obviously that wasn't the case. Won't be coming back here again to be berated by a cranky old man. Wish I could rate this...
