Handbags to die for; special occasion dresses, SO many jeans, great estate jewelry, and accessories galore. Some of the sassiest hats I’ve ever seen in one spot.

I brought in a black Ralph Lauren gown and a blue silk evening dress to Pure Couture. The owner was telling me that she was not interested in accepting the gown because it was out of season when a customer in the store saw the gown and was interested in buying it. The owner, Denise, priced the gown at 59.00 and the silk dress at 80.00. After two months, I Was told my silk dress did not sell and I could pick it up the next day. The dress that was offered to me was NOT my dress. We searched for my dress and could not find it anywhere. Denise wrote me a check for 45.00 for the two outfits. The contract reads 50-50 with a one time yearly fee of 10.00 for paperwork. She never apologized for losing my dress or even discussed how she arrived at that amount. I will NEVER consign with this...

I left 2 brand new gowns in her care. She says they didn't sell. She donated them but can't tell me where or to whom. Has no receipt of donation that she is willingtoshow. Do not leave your things here. She won't notify you ahead of giving your things away. Not even a courtesy call or text. She doesn't take responsibility for anything. And is shady. She will smile in your face and tell you something different than what is on the back of your receipt. I believe she sold my items and just isn't paying me for them. Don't trust this store.
