We wanted to do a memory quilt for a wedding. They helped us pick out the right fabric and suggested the type of markers for ppl to write their well wishes, made sure we had them cut to account for the space we needed for the overlap. Then they helped us pick out the boarder and backing. They cut everything in a day, we paid for the fabric and the cutting. Now we just have to lay it out and put the squares in the order we want them, bring it back so they can finish it off for us. They have samples of different quilts hung up so you can see their work. I love visiting quilt shops when traveling. I stumbled upon this shop when my husband had some work in a surrounding town. I got lucky on this one. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about all things quilting. The selection of fabrics and patterns is one of the best out of the shops I have been to in the greater Chicagoland and Milwaukee suburban areas. They have reproductions, japanese fabrics, batiks, children, local prints, and more! Make sure to add this shop to your map. I'm already making a list for the next time my husband has work...

An absolute gem of a shop, with seemingly the most random combination of interests. Love visiting this store with my aunt--I, an avid collector of coins, and her, a devoted quilter. I have also seen the owners at a couple of coin shows in Wisconsin and Illinois, and they always have a nice selection and are just as eager to help as they are...
