Gourmet Appliance Kitchen and Home Emporium — Local services in Half Moon Bay

They have a great repairman. Trying to schedule him or do anything else is a disaster. It takes multiple emails and calls just to get on the books. I bought replacement shelves for a fridge 9 months ago and can’t get them to confirm the status.

Gourmet appliance is the only Thermador authorized repair facility in the Bay Area, so choices are scarce. They are honest compared to other hucksters we’ve hired by mistake.

Probably the best advice is not to buy Thermador. Not sure why the brand is seen as premium. We had problems with both stove and fridge. Repair has always been a scary nightmare...

We have visited the newer location of the Gourmet Appliance Kitchen and Home Emporium on Main Street in Half Moon Bay. The store has fewer decorations than most other stores because it doesn't necessarily need to. The colorful and beautiful home and kitchen items on the shelves already decorated the store.

These guys are the best. They serviced my Miele Dishwasher recently and went above and beyond the call! I've been having trouble with it for a while and had Miele out 2x to work on it. They have it in the best condition it has been in since its installation. They took the time to make sure it was level and put in correctly in the space. NANO and DANNY were friendly and competent and very knowledgable. I will definitely call them first to service my appliances...
