Long-Awaited Visit Worth the Hype After years of saying “I need to stop in”, I finally made it to Spanishtown Mexican Restaurant, and I’m glad I did. Coastside locals, take note—this spot is absolutely worth a visit (and repeat visits). What We Ordered (see photos): Guava Margarita Cadillac Jalapeño Margarita Chimichanga Mole Chicken Guacamole with Chips Drinks: The margaritas were on point. Balanced, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick. The guava margarita was refreshing, and the Cadillac with jalapeño brought the perfect heat. Food: The mole sauce stood out—deep, rich, and clearly made in-house. It had layers of flavor that hit all the right notes. The chimichanga was perfectly crisped and generously filled, and the homemade tortillas were a warm, comforting touch that took things to the next level. Don’t skip the guac—it’s fresh and satisfying. And shout-out to the table “hot” salsa—legit had me laughing through the heat, in the best way. Service & Atmosphere: Friendly, fast, and easygoing. The team here was on top of things and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering. Final Verdict: Thumbs up all around. Great food, solid drinks, and genuine vibes. As a coastside local, this one’s going into the regular rotation. Already looking forward to the next round of mole and margaritas.

It was my first time here and Loved it! Had the Chimichanga and a blended watermelon Margarita. Very charming place, I told my Auntie Linda "I feel like I just walked out of Mexico!" I didn't get the server's name but he was terrific I felt like he was one of my buddies ... as I drove off into this Sunset he waved to me . . . A wonderful experience I will be back!

My family enjoyed the food. I included a picture of the 3 item dinner that had chicken quesadilla, flauta, and a chimichonga. It was enough for my wife, me, and my young daughter. It's a lot of food! We also had Patron margaritas - mango and the other jalapeno margaritas. Next time I might try the 8 oz NY steak and shrimp. The chips and salsa were delicious.

Not really fresh food, food is tasteless, no natural spices at all how Mexican food should taste like use some spices like garlic, paprika something like sea salt at least! All food tastes out of a can including Salsas. Not worth it at all. I ordered a coffee and it was also old and tasted burnt, Horchata and Lemonade are made out of a powder, so expect everything else to be and taste bad as canned food tastes like. Not worth the price at all. Mexican food is Actually easy to make and if they cant do that they are cheap and lazy, not really Mexican at all! Better buy yourself a organic canned meal instead. I'm Mexican and cook and I was sooo disappointed on this horrible food....

I'm not sure why this place has good reviews. My lady and I came here and had lunch. When we opened our napkin, there was a cockroach that fell out, at that time Our food was being served, so we said we didn't want anything she asked me, was there anything else we wanted to eat? I'm sorry, but when you see a cockroach, you leave.I would never come here again And when we tried to bring it up to the waitress attention, she looked at us like we were dumb, obviously the cockroach was still on the table, and she said, it's not a big deal, absolutely disgusting I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DO...
