This was my first order/experience with them! As a medical patient I feel like laws/rules/regulations when it comes to med patients and their care givers should be known by staff, especially being a budtender to avoid spreading misinformation and false policies to patients. I had placed my first order with them on Thursday and had my fiancƩ pick it up since he's legally my caregiver and I'm in far too much pain to move and get it myself, when he got there around 7pm he called me to let me know he was told that its districts cannabis policy and the law that I had to be there physically for my first order to show ID and sign a form. Me being a med patient and a former budtender (not for district) I knew that wasn't correct information and my fiancƩ is 100% able to pick up the order for me, I sent him back in the store to ask for a supervisor! It took an additional 45 mins to finally be able to have the supervisor ring him up and give him my medicine. If it wasn't for the lack of training on laws/policies and turning my fiancƩ falsely away the first time we wouldn't had went through almost an hour of run around and wasting time. I asked him to ask for something in return for this being our first time experience, being lied to about laws/policies and the inconvenience of this taking an hour extra because of that but they decided to encourage me to leave a negative review instead! This has by far been a very off putting experience that feels very discriminatory and targeted towards my fiancƩ since I'm pretty sure not every med patient has these false laws, rules/policies enforced against them nor their time wasted like mine, I will be reaching out to Corporate/HR as well regarding my interaction and being lied to about their policies at that location because it's unacceptable. I will not recommend this dispensary to anyone with a med card nor anyone who appreciates decent customer service and experiences, stay clear! However, Sunday I made a pre-order near 5 o'clock unaware they close at 6pm. I assumed since I was able to make the pre-order I had enough time to pick it up. I arrived at approximately 5:55 and before getting out of the car was 'greeted' by the door guy.
He has always been polite every time I've interacted with him. I remember him previously working at Rise.
Hearing they close at 6 and that I wouldn't be able to enter to purchase my pre-order was a bummer. I was told it was illegal to let anyone in, even though it wasn't 6pm yet. Nevertheless, no big deal. There's another dispensary down the street.. š¤·āāļø so I wasn't rude or argumentative just surprised.
It was the way he spoke at me that I didn't care for. I'm a person too! I can understand closing at a specific time. His attitude towards me was completely unnecessary especially since I wasn't giving him any kind of flack.
I would suggest a change to your online ordering system so potential customers can't make a pre-order so near closing. This seemed to really have your door man bent out of shape as people kept pulling up. Not that it gave him cause...

I didnt know that was a thing, but cool. I go in the next time and I am told I was never told that. Okay, so i pulled "merging accounts" from the sky and definitely not the manager. Another incident that happened, I wont deep dive, but the manager called me a liar. She went back and checked th cameras, came back out and wouldnt even look at me. I'd be embarrassed too. So I was called a liar twice in 1 day.... but i didnt lie even once.
Treating this industry as a joke is disgusting. This is medication. People fought for this so hard and for so long. People have lost their life over it, gone to prison for life over it, and you wanna treat it like its a goddamn circus. Most everyone there is very kind, but that manager needs to do better.
