Regal Valley Mall — Local services in Halfway

Just finished watching the new spider-man into the Spiderverse movie and heard it was one of the most visually stunning animated movies ever made so I had high hopes going into it being a fan of super hero’s and animation as well. Unfortunately, the whole time the movie was blurry, almost like it was supposed to be 3D, totally ruined my entire experience and even gave me a headache. I left the movie twice to ask for someone to check it out. The first time I asked the manager if the movie was supposed to be in 3D and if there was a mistake and he assured me that it wasn’t supposed to be in 3D (which I had already figured was the problem) so I said that there must have been a problem with the projector, he said it was probably just the comic book style of the movie that made it look like that. About 10 min later I returned to the front desk politely waiting in line for them to assist another customer with their order, missing my movie, and asking politely, “hey, I’m sorry I don’t mean to keep bothering you guys, but the movie seems way more blurry than it should and I think there might be a problem with the projector, could you please ask someone to check it out?” He said sure, and for the rest of the duration of the movie (probably like 1 hour or so) no one went up to check or correct the movie.

I might also note that the projector was projecting two images, so I’m assuming that one of them was slightly off, or it was supposed to be 3D, I’m not sure.

Also in the past I went there to watch a 3D movie and the projector was slightly messed up so the movie looked like garbage, one of the audience members told a staff member about it and they fixed it. I’m just confused why nothing was...

The people are young, the employees I mean... They haven't been endowed with the experience of deciminating customers from let's just say others for the purpose of simplicity. I will relate my experience, I am not a avid movie recipient nor do I watch every new movie that comes out anymore. But upon hearing this cinema will show the original matrix from the 90ths I must admit I was somewhat enthralled. When I arrived unfamiliar with the cinema as I am, I browsed the selection not being acquainted with the software of the computer terminal nor the layout of the cinema. Like any rational person I approach the desk in order the ask about the layout in order to travel informed when I purchase my ticket. A burly young man with shoulder length hair and a beard sprung up from the counter carried by much momentum from has considerable girth demanded that my ticket be shown... The young often carried by there youth sometimes become enamoured by these emotions that runs rampant upon the slightest sense of aggregate excitement. Ready to spring up in a moment's notice is not bad, but when an Old Man with bald spots comes to watch a movie, why in the world would you think he is some young juvenile attempting to steal a movie? This is a good example of not using the proper method proportional to the task and your feelings. Since this is the only movie theater close in town I doubt there's a selective pressure for this place to change, because they have no competition. The score reflects my general animosity for the movie monopoly, lack of pressure to change, then lastly the way a customer was...

Me and my wife gone there last week to see 1917 war movie. The concession stand prices are really insane. $5 for a 20oz bottled coke is outrageous. Please go back to fountain drinks and offer free refills. I hate bottled cokes and prefer fountain sodas. I don’t mind watching movies trailers, but over 20 minutes gets ridiculous. I was considering buying a yearly movie pass for me and my wife since we are retired but have reservations about doing so.

Not sure if I want to get locked into a one year membership even if I pay monthly. Think first before you sign up.

The new seats were a big improvement over the old seats but caught hell trying to get out of it. I’m a big guy and didn’t feel uncomfortable in their new seats. I didn’t mind the renovations going on. It was nice going to a theatre that was not crowded. Less than 10 people watching. I’m going to check out this Leitersburg theatre that everyone is ranting and raving about. After I do that, I will decide if it’s worth it or not to buy an unlimited Regal movie pass to the valley mall theatre or not.

Buying 2 unlimited movie passes costing $432 bucks at $18 dollars monthly is no joke. 10% discount at the concession is just not much of a discount. They should at least offer free soda and popcorn for the first three visits on a movie...
