Less than impressed. I’m not one to write bad reviews… but I feel the need to share my experience as if it was totally different from what I expected.
I was recommended this place by several people. Moon or OJ specifically. I booked with Moon and have nothing bad to say about her at all, she is incredibly sweet and did a great job on my nails.
Now for the rest of the place… ugh. I had an appt for 2:15 that i booked 2 weeks ago. I wasn’t taken back to the chair until 2:45 because I guess the appt in front of me at 1:30 didn’t get there until 2. Seems like there should be some kind of late policy where you don’t get the tech you booked with if you’re over 15 minutes late.
Secondly, the place was filthy. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. And this is a new construction building, built within the last 2 years, so I expected better. It was very unorganized and just overall dirty, dust everywhere. I didn’t see any tech clean a single thing the entire time I was there. Tools weren’t sanitized from what I saw. Sinks were dirty/grimy.
Thirdly, I heard one of the American employees telling my tech that “Sonny” had overcharged his client and just added on extra stuff that he didn’t do. That put a real bad taste in my mouth.
Overall I just expected a better, cleaner experience from somewhere so highly recommended. Again. loved my tech and would see her again elsewhere,...
Read moreI used to go here & use romeo for my acrylic nails never had any issues. about a week ago I lost a nail, & i find green underneath my natural nail. being that i’ve had many many sets of nails and never had that happen EVER. so called today, definitely not rude on the phone on my end but like wtf pretty much. I know the lady i was talking to on the phone & tries to tell me that when the bottom of my nail lifts water from washing my dishes or just things can get in there and bacteria can grow… like really? how about if i needed a new set why wouldn’t it be his job to tell me that? isn’t that why i came in here every few weeks spend like 75 in your salon & your going to attempt to blame it on me? yah no. No responsibility, no, omg wow let me call my owner see what’s going on. nope then proceeds to tell me when it’s like that i might need that new set, my response… that’s his job, to tell me, hey you need a new one, bc the last two apt i’ve asked him, hey can we get another fill out of these & he tells me yes. then attempts to get shitty with me while I now ask for the owners information. so while i wait for that I feel that ppl should know, they need a lesson in cleaning and customer service. i’ll never spend another dime here & neither should...
Read moreThis place was highly recommended on Facebook so I gave it a try, I was sadly disappointed. I booked on the phone, asking for advice as I had not had my nails done in many years. The woman who answered was sweet but wouldn't describe or recommend anything. The gentleman who did my nails did not seem to understand English well when I selected my options, but at the end of the service he suddenly understood me and spoke just fine. I asked for a design I found on their Facebook page but the gentleman told me he would not do any designs, only colors. I ended up with the wrong color, wrong shape, and wrong length. I didn't know what I was doing so I went with it. The final product was crooked on some nails and angled upward on others (see my pinky nail in my photo). I was charged $61 (no extras) even though their menu said $47. The service was rushed; with the gentleman leaving to put his coat and hat on before I was done. I would recommend that the salon not schedule appointments later than the employee is willing to stay. After 3 days I removed my nails myself as they became painful due to the angles.
