Aaron's Rent To Own — Local services in Hampden Township

I leased a washer and dryer..went through a bad break up and I'm on disability...I couldn't afford them anymore but had already paid almost 2,000 dollars I have the payment recieps...anyways I told them to come on a certain date but to call me before they came to pick them up..they were in the garage so my roommate put them both right outside the garage for them to pick them up...so they came but never called to say they were on their way..so my roommate and my neighbors were here and told them to take them...my roommate signed my initials that he thought was just to confirm that they picked them up...I was at a doctor's appointment..anyways they got them and I have several witnesses to confirm they got both the washer and dryer and they want more money...first of all like I said I paid almost 2 thousand bucks already and they have there items back and the harass me every day calling me at least 2 or 3 times a day!!! Now I have to change my cell number soon and they call my moms house number and she told them I don't live there anymore..I just moved from where they took the washer and dryer and now live in new Cumberland pa...I don't know what to do because I don't get but 700 a month in ssd payments and I have a lot of bills...im not paying them anymore money...if they want to take me to court I will bring the 3 people that seen them get their washer and dryer back and im sure they already rented them out to someone else already!! If anyone could tell me what to do for them to stop the everyday harassment please let me know what I can do...if not just changing my number and like I said I moved last month! They can't get what I don't have...heck I can't even afford to apply for bankruptcy!! What more do they want??? My blood??? They got their washer and dryer back in great condition and got almost 2 thousand in cash!! They are cut throut ruthless and won't leave me a lone...you would think I alone broke them!!! They are so rude and I told them why I couldn't afford them anymore!! They dont care...they got them back and money to boot!!!! Aarons if your reading this PLEASE STOP HARRASING ME!! I CANT EVEN AFFORD FOOD HALF OF THE TIME LET A LONE PAY YOU MORE MONEY WHEN YOU GOT YOUR WASHER AND DRYER BACK PLUS MONEY TO BOOT AND I HAVE 3 PEOPLE WHO SEEN THEM TAKE THEM AND I DIDNT SIGN ANYTHING! MY OLD ROOMATE/ BEST FRIEND PUT MY INITIALS ON THAT PAPER THINKING IT WAS TO CONFIRM THE PICK UP TO FIND OUT VIA VOICMAIL THAT IT WAS ANOTHER CONTACT...I WAS NOT EVEN HERE I WAS AT THE CHIROPRACTOR BECAUSE IM IN A LOT OF PAIN EVERY DAY!! I had an over all good experience. I purchased an HP all in one computer, I believe it had been pre-leased but when I received it it was pretty much like new. I can’t say any thing bad about my experience with Aaron’s they actually brought the Computer out to my home and set it all up for me. The terms of my lease were $64.99 per month for 12 months. At the time when I began my lease I was in a situation where having a PC at home was a must as I had several medical bills that I needed to take care of and long story short I needed away to print out forms and copy documents & just using my iPhone would not cut it. The one thing is I needed a printer along with the computer and I had to purchase that out right off amazon. It’s exactly what you would expect, when your credit is not on point and you need to use the convenience of making payments rather then purchasing the item outright your going to pay a lot for the item, but you understand that going into the situation. So the long story short I called the store told them what I needed they got me something I was able to manage paying for each month. I did complete my term and received my certificate of ownership at the beginning of this month. I had set up for the automatic monthly payment to be deducted from my bank card that was very convenient. I probably will use them again if the need arises. Obviously the best option is to try and save up the money you need and purchase what you need from a company like amazon, but if I’m in a pinch I’d call Aaron’s again and try to make arrangements to get what I need. I had an aweful experience buying from the Aaron’s store in camp hill, pa. The manager Chuck was very rude and disrespectful towards me when I had an issue with them delivering me a broken dryer twice. I bought a washer and dryer set brand new from their store. They delivered it and I called them right away to let them know it was broken. They sent a used one and took my dryer to get fixed. I waited two months and they still didn’t fix it. I called back several times for the manager to say he was going to just send me a new one again. Got the new one delivered and once again it was broken too. Called the manager for two weeks until I got an answer. For him to blame me for it being broken. I went to store to talk to him face to face and he blew me off and talked down to me disrespectfully. He purposely ignored my calls and admitted to doing so. So I called his boss and got the issue handle through him. They only fixed it through the manufacture of the dryer. And only honored the same as cash price and too a 100 off the priced the dryer. I am not satisfied as I paid for a brand new dryer and only have a refurbished one and spent over five months dealing with a broken dryer. I do not recommend buying from Aaron’s. They just want your money. And don’t care about the customer or their value of...
