Marshalls — Local services in Hampton

If I could give no star for this review I would. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE IF YOU DONT WANT STAFF TO SCAM YOU.DO NOT APPLY FOR TJ MAXX CREDIT CARD in this store, some staff are scamming customers who already have the credit card.. If you can avoid going in there DO NOT GO Staff target people and follow you around store to ask about you applying for the card, This incident happened to me last week,I already had a TJ maxx credit card, but the same cashier that targetted me on the floor took my card and was debating that because I had not used my card for a while previously I would have to answer 3 questions, She called another member of staff they asked for my social security and other details that I gave them before she would run my card through and the payment was ok. What she had done was apply for another card in my name with those three questions. So it now shows on my credit score.When I got home my husband told me I had been scammed. Why would she do that if already had a card? I called the store to speak to the manager, but they did not take the matter seriously as they said they would, becuz the same member of staff an elderly african american lady (I wont put her name on here yet, but she knows she is a scammer) was still in the store as a cashier a few days later when we went back to see what the management had done about the incident.So I will no longer be going into this Marshall ever again as I dont trust staff or management who did nothing after my genuine complaint and they were given all the info on my receipt of time etc and knew the perp. Its sad when customers have to be subjected to such a situation. I also called the Credit card company so they can know what this store and their staff are doing illegally. I wont stop telling everyone I know so that nobody ever has to go through what that woman put me through with the managers supporting her. That really...

Visited this Marshall’s for the first time was a mistake. I usually enjoy shopping Marshall’s stores in different states, but the one in Hampton Va, has to be the lowest on the totem pole. Low stock on everything, small aisles with products blocking the small pathways. Rude cashiers. Had a VERY visible stain on a set of WHITE bathmats (last one on shelf)... informed the cashier, who informed me that I would need to take them home and wash them first, then if the stain is not removed, they’ll return them... WTheck? Never in my life have I heard of such. Then I proceeded to ask the cashier do they offer Military discounts... her response was “this is a discount store-everyone gets a discount”. Once my receipt printed no ‘thank you-have a nice day’ ... nothing. Mind you I was courteous and polite the whole transaction despite the poor attitude that was given. Will definitely recommend anyone planning to attend this store to find a Marshall’s in the next town over before visiting this one if you want a pleasant...

I wish I could give zero Stars! I went here to buy a dog bed and found one I wanted it had a clearance tag on it for $16. On the way to the register the tags fell off (there were 4 to be exact all held on by 1 of those price tag things. 1 was the org price tag 1 was marshals tag 1 was a green tag 1 was a brown tag those 2 were the manufacturer's tags) so when I got to the register things were fine till I assume who was the manager decided she wanted to walk over and be super rude to me and say that wasn't the correct price tag. but indeed it was the correct price tag. So she went and found another one similar to it and told me "you're paying $40 the full price for it that's how much this one is somebody must have priced the one you got wrong." That's not my fault and for you to be rude about it like it was my fault and not give me the item for the price in which the price tag stated is absolutely wrong. I will never go to this place again!
