I have never had such a horrible expieriance in my life!I've been going to sonic for as long as I remember. Today though was different. I first went in the early day can't remember the time .I ordered a large onion ring. I was just coming from another store and was trying to beat the rain.I waited for 30,.min .then .so I told one of the workers friend that had two kids to cancel my order. Be a cause I had to go home. So I went back and realized that I didnt have a reicept for the other place that I went shopping at .and then I went got some food for my husband and then went back to the sonic .First I ordered onion rings a large one.several people came and went with their food .I kept asking about, mine.they kept, making escuses and said it'll be out in a while.so kept waiting and then I order a small milkshake and onion rings when the lady came to get the money I was giving her the money .and she gave me change .I asked her why .and she says indirectly that I will take care of it .so I thought that I was gettingca free meal. a daywhether ipay with change or paper money. at least i paying a free meal .but guess was wrong.the lady came with only the milkshake and not my onion rings. So I I ask that I thought I was getting onion rings .then she said well you only gave money for the milkshake. Then I told her that I was tring to give the money and asked about the onion rings and was told they hired new people and it would take awhile.then because I had said and u quote ."let me see if I have enough money and then I'll get the food".then I called her back and ordered the food .that never got .then I went back to the store and got a copy of the receipt from the other store.and as I was going back I thought I'd order again .they did the same thing .it was all the waiting staffs fault .not only when I was getting some money out to pay for the onion rings as I was getting it out .the manager here was saying .of you take too long then thats the problem .then I was furious and I said .you can't talk to me this way I'm a customer and I just canceled my order and said you know what I'm OK I have never in my life had worse service .and it wasn't the time where they would be busy. I then before I left said and I quote."that if I was in your position I would give the entire meal for free because it was my fault. and the server even admitted to her fault .what's worse is that they say one thing they do another.I had said before I sat down that this had happened earlier and the server said I didn't have to pay for the onion rings .but when the manager came and told me the total I was appauled by the amount.I addresed her about the situation and told her whart the server did and said.but she said that its hers to make .so I agreed and said its not I asked for a free meal the server volentered .so what I'm saying is when a person orders some tying you give them what they order and keep your promises .and be polite and not rude !I felt I was a victim of discrimination. she even said why I didnt call for the manager ? Well I said I thought I didn't have to .I never got the indication. It seemed that I was played .but I'm no fool said before I left .that was not what Christ would want us to do .it was wrong I even said she should own up to what she said .obviusly she declined.its OK though .this is the era of the internet AnD now may be this won't happen again. Have a great day whether I pay with paper money or change its still money..and its not like I had too Much change.her name is Everest .I thought was...
Read moreHighly unprofessional! The leadership for the evening was acting extremely immature, and doing that only taught the rest of the team that doing such to customers is acceptable behavior. No-one should have anxiety ordering an ice cream, no-one should feel disrespected or threatened like we did. This is a fast food restaurant, it should be easy, convenient and reliable. Instead we have fear that our order was tampered with and that's not a feeling anyone should experience.
We went through the drive-thru line and ordered a Sonic Blast with chocolate chips, strawberries, and banana. We said the order mulitple times, and the order was repeated back incorrectly each time. We asked if they understood the order, they just told us a total and to drive to the window. When we pulled forward we asked what they had in their system and they repeated the incorrect order again. We explained slowly to the cashier and she relayed the order to an associate making our Sonic Blast. We also added that we were never asked what size we wanted and let the cashier know we wanted out order in a small size. She told the associate that we also wanted the order in a small. The associate making the order then got irate and threw the order she started across the room and started cussing. We got very upset and let the cashier know that it was not our fault it was being made incorrectly when we tried to explain or order multiple times and the cashier shut the drive-thru window in our face. She opened it back up and gave us one half of our order and asked us to move forward and they would bring the other half to our vehicle. We asked the cashier if the associate making our order was the manager and she told us yes it was. We asked for the corporate number and she said there was no corporate number to call. We moved forward and watched inside as they made a lot of hand gestures and what appeared to be yelling. About 5 minutes later they brought us the Sonic Blast. It looked like a chocolate milk shake. There were no chocolate chips or any distinct strawberries or bananas. We were so dissatisfied, the cost of the order was not an issue we just requested...

My sister and I arrived at this location at 4:52 PM. We parked in a bay and decided on what we wanted. Clicked the "press to order button" 4 times, no response. Proceeded to the drive thru window, ordered and paid: $20.50 and it was 5:07 PM. We were asked to move forward and we did. The line started getting so backed up, we had to move forward again. One girl came to the car and asked if we had milkshakes, I replied: "No." and she asked what we had, I told her the whole order. Waited, another girl walked up, asked me to move forward again and I asked her if she knew where our order was? She asked what my order was and walked inside. @5:27 PM, my sister and I walked to the door and a man walked out and confirmed our order, I told him yes and just asked for my money back. He walked back out to me about 2 minutes later, handed me cash and walked back inside. No apology, no "free" offers, nothing. I didn't need those things, but it was no display of empathy or common courtesy.
Now, again, I take into account every detail when I am at any food establishment. I am in culinary school and I work in a fine dining establishment. It all works the same at the core.
This staff needs training and some help, obviously. They probably have an incredibly high turnover and cannot keep a steady staff. They might not care at all, I don't know but I don't want to assume based on their performance because there is more than story here.
I will not be back. I hope...
