Joyu Tea & Coffee — Restaurant in Hampton

I ordered in store the bahn mi combo for 15$ after taxes but they were out of a couple ingredients. I thought that was okay as long as the swap was my moneys worth but they gave me an almost burnt croissant sandwich and a ‘free’ 90 cent cookie 😭 the croissant was so dry and the cost did not equal what I paid for. I’m not a very confrontational person when it comes to food because I strongly believe in not pissing off the person preparing your food but I don’t think I’m gonna come back for a long time if ever. The quality has gone down since they first opened and this really solidified it for me. They could’ve at least given me a size up on my drink to make up the difference. I just feel like I was robbed. My excitement for a sweet treat has now turned into disappointment 🥲 I might be overreacting but I also don’t think I am 😭 Ps it was more burnt where I ate. 11/30/2024: Grand opening morning - one word to describe the drinks, atmosphere, staff/customer service: perfect. It was great and a pleasure seeing the Owner as well! We got two drinks: one large Moonlite Lychee Tea with regular (100%) sugar and regular (100%) ice and one large Strawberry Lemon Tea with regular (100%) sugar and regular (100%) ice and strawberry toppings. Both drinks were delicious and refreshing. I kid you not, but my partner literally went in and got another one after we walked to the vehicle. I highly recommend this unique tea/coffee establishment. first stopped by Joyu Tea & Coffee the first week of this month and tried the Strawberry Matcha Cloud. I had never tried matcha before, but wow… it was SO good! I also grabbed a Chicken & Swiss Croissant and the Almondella Dream Croffle—both were perfect.

Since then I’ve been back a few times just for the Chicken & Swiss Croissant alone (it’s seriously that fresh and delicious). Today I tried the Cookies & Cream Latte, another Chicken & Swiss Croissant (of course 😅), and a Strawberry Fruit Croissant. Everything was amazing as usual.

The customer service here is always on point, and they even left me a sweet note today wishing me a great day—such a nice touch. Joyu is definitely becoming one of my favorite go-to spots...
