Went to get my phone screen fixed. Screen turned on and was partially functional before. Was returned to me with a black screen, nonfunctional. I took it to my usual place (US Wireless on 12 mile - they have fixed the screen on this phone twice before with no problems). Here they examined my phone and informed me that a chip was broken and would need to be repaired by an expert. Went back to Hitek and explained the issue they caused. Worker sent me to Wee Fix on Dequindre. This special repair would normally cost $100 but employee at Hitek made a call, at my request, to have the fix done for $50. This is more than I would normally have to pay to get a screen fixed but I nevertheless am glad the problem was fixed. I also lost pay from work since this unnecessary problem took all day to resolve. Pretty big bummer. I would recommend going straight to Wee Fix or Us Wireless in Madison Heights. I like this place. I always have. However, today I had an experience that kind of raised a red flag for me. I bought a phone from them about 6 days ago as a gift. I left the phone in its original packaging and didn't even remove the seal. Today I came back with my receipt and asked for an exchange ( not a return ) and it was a bit of a hassle considering I was well within the 30 day return period. I dropped my phone off on a Saturday and was told it would be ready by the end of the day Sunday. They never reached out on Sunday I called at 5pm and he told me it wasn’t done, but it would be ready Monday in the morning. Fast forward to Monday still no call so I show up to the store at 5:30pm and they hadn’t even started repairing my phone.

Communication at this place is the absolute worse! I wouldn’t let them repair anything of mine nor would I purchase...
