When buying a used vehicle, MAKE SURE you inspect EVERYTHING before deciding to purchase. Bought a truck with ‘clean’ CarFax, looked good to us, but then once we had it home realized the grill was damaged. Took it back 2 days after purchase and found that in addition to grill, driver side bumper piece was out of whack with broken clips. First time driven in the dark, driver headlight aimed at the ground, the part that holds the headlight is broke too. With some argument, Champion replaced the grill and said that was all they would do. At first offered an oil change instead of part repair, as if that is even relevant. We need to make the truck right— we’ll be paying a payment and don’t want to think about the problems anymore. Very frustrating that what should be exciting and fun has turned into a huge headache with repairs to be done that can’t be claimed on insurance because we didn’t do the damage. Never again!!!

Wow, go online to find a tire, book an appointment to have the tire installed, Todd calls, and asked if I needed a tire. Yep. We don't have that tire, we will need to order it, but I have an appointment in 45 minutes....yep that the app, it shouldn't have let you book the appointment! But it did, Todd, but I can have the tire Monday (this is Friday) for you. Would you like to schedule then. Nope, I needed the tire today! How in today's world can we order from Amazon and they know what they have to sell...but this Chevy dealership doesn't have the ability to know what they have in stock, and worst yet don't let me know until I am walking out the door to drive to my appointment. The funny thing is we need a new vehicle, and I thought, maybe kill two birds with one trip! NOPE Not at Champion Chevy I won't. Run from this service department! I am tire"d" of dealing with them.

We had been looking for a decent used vehicle for a first time driver. Found a nice used vehicle here at Champion. We worked with Roni and she did a great job providing information about the vehicle, helped answers all our questions, and made the transaction easy. Roni is very knowledgeable about the vehicles. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and so helpful we would definitely go back there in future.

I wish we would have read reviews before coming to this dealership. The one good thing about our experience is the salesman, Jake. Jake has been so nice and helpful and seems to be the only one who has tried to get in contact with us. We had gone to this dealership because my boyfriend wanted To buy a used equinox. We went through the financing and Delano said we needed something newer with less miles. They literally chose a car that was a year newer with like 10,000 less miles. We were told this 2014 Malibu was amazing and someone had just turned it in and it was in basically perfect condition. Cool! We saw the car fax thought nothing of it. NOT even a week and a half later... the car has ALL lights on. Has to be TOWED back to the dealership. What??? Figuring stuff out with the service department has been a nightmare. Unless we nag and nag we don’t get a call and it took 4 days to get a rental that we NEEDED to get to and from work. A day after having the rental car they say it’s been fixed and charge is a deductible and say the problem is fixed but if anything happens call! Okay cool. Well... 4 days later... the SAME issue. Omg. We got a rental the day we turned the car in and have not heard anything from anyone about the car and what’s going on with it. They took my number and I watched the guy type that the car would be available Wednesday (I turned it in on a Saturday) well it’s Friday and we haven’t heard anything about it. Also, we have had horrible experience with the finance portion of this dealership. Delano has confused us and we kept trying to get ahold of him and he takes days to respond to emails, voicemails and doesn’t call back unless we make a big fuss. How ridiculous!!! A week before my boyfriend bought his car, I had purchased a car from a ford dealership. A WEEK BEFORE. And have had no issues like this! when I did have any type of issues or questions they solved them in an instant! The finance person I went through at the Ford dealer was VERY THOROUGH AND HELPFUL. He answered my calls immediately when available or if he couldn’t he would call back ASAP. Not the case at this dealership. It took almost a week for me to get a call from Delano to even try to speak about the financial issues we were having. I get you’re busy, but an email saying I’ll call you when I get a chance is so much more helpful than being ignored. Whatever Pegasus payment option we went through... has been a nightmare. Delano didn’t even try to be understanding he kept saying “we talked about this” or “it’s in your paperwork and I told you about this”...... It has been a very frustrating experience at this dealership. Especially knowing we still don’t what’s wrong with our car, if it was even looked at, when they think it’ll be done... 🙄 we called JAKE the used cars SALESMAN to ask about the car and he’s been more helpful than the service department. First, I want to make it clear that this review does not reflect my experience with the sales department. Abey was excellent. In fact, my original intention was to leave her a five-star review — I just hadn’t gotten around to it. We purchased a new 2025 Traverse with Abey in May, and the experience was great. She was helpful in finding the right vehicle and guided us through the entire purchase process.

Where things went downhill was with the service department.

In July, my brake light came on, so I called to schedule an appointment. When I arrived, I was told it would take 45 minutes, so I waited. When they returned the car, the brake light was still on. I mentioned this to the service employee who gave me my keys, and was told, “Everyone is at lunch, no one can help, so you’ll have to come back.” I expressed my frustration, but was assured someone would call me to reschedule. No one ever called.

My husband eventually contacted the service manager, who apologized and promised to make things right. I dropped the car off again, it was serviced and I was told that if the light came back on, something more was wrong. The next day, the light came back on. I dropped it off and was told it was the master cylinder, but there was no ETA because the part was on back order. I was given a rental.

Two weeks later, I stopped to pick up my car. I was told, “We didn’t test drive it much because your low fuel light is on.” I was required to refill the rental tank per the service manager’s instructions — yet they couldn’t put $10 in my own vehicle to ensure my brakes worked?

What an awesome experience at your dealership! I had been shopping around for a mid-sized SUV and had already test drove a few different competitor vehicles. One Saturday morning I looked at your website and spotted a precertified used 2015 Chevrolet Equinox. I decided to stop in an see if it was available to take for a test drive. After being on the lot a just a few minutes I was greeted by sales consultant Chris Davis. His friendly handshake and genuine smile greeted me. He asked me some questions and quickly arranged the test drive. During the drive, Chris helped me to decide if this vehicle was the right fit for me. He pointed out various features and explained how they worked and how each could potentially benefit my busy lifestyle. Chris has a relaxed style that quickly placed me at ease with the purchasing process. After the test drive I had made my decision to purchase the vehicle and was able to drive it the next 2 days. When I came in Monday evening to wrap up the purchase, Chris took more time to explain everything to me. He went out of his way to demonstrate how to set up my smart phone so it could interface with my new vehicle. Matt Strand was very helpful as well. Financing is complex and difficult to understand. Matt took his time with me and explained all the details so I could feel comfortable with my purchase. From start to finish everyone I encountered at Champion Chevrolet of Fowlerville was friendly and helpful. Thank you all for the customer service you provide.
