I showed up looking at a diamond to upgrade on my wife's ring. I was greeted by Sheila, we looked through some diamonds and they didnt have one in stock. We had to order one on Sept 19th, she said it would take a week to get in. I called a week later, left a message and a staff member said Sheila would return my call. A few days go by, no response. I went personally into the store and spoke with Sheila. She did not initially recognize me and when I told her nearly 10 days later she said she didnt know what the update was. She checked the system and still nothing about the update. She called the store where the diamond was supposed to come from but it was on east coast so she promised would follow up with me the next day. Next 48 hours no response. I went to another jeweler in fresno, after feeling a lack of urgency or interest in helping me from Daniel's Jeweler. The fresno jeweler was able to find me a diamond that was nearly 1 karat larger than what I was waiting for from Sheila, and paid a fraction of the cost what Daniel's was charging me and was able to get my new rings back in less than the time waiting for the diamond Sheila order which im assuming at this point never came. I had hopes to support the local business but I guess my gut was right when I had second guesses the first time I walked into that store. Shop with caution at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I would ā¦.Terrible cold costumer service, stuck up attitude, wasnāt helpful at all, & wanted to give as little information as possible to help with repair services. If your looking for a caring, professional, and helpful jewelry store to work with long term, DO NOT go here! You can tell by the energy of their room how cold they are as people⦠Iād recommend the other jewelry store around the corner from them, very warm friendly and informative community (Don Roberto jewelry) The story was I bought pearls a few months ago without warranty. They said there was absolutely nothing they could do about it and weāre very rude about it but when I went to the Danielās jewelry in Visalia they were able to fix my pearls no problem, and weāre even able to add the warranty even if I bought it months ago. I didnāt even have an account. I paid with a straight debit card and they went out of their way to find the purchase and make it happen! Even got a $50 gift card! So I know itās just the service of Hanford jewelry that is simply terrible. Especially the bigger white lady (not to be rude, just facts) brings the negative energy to the atmosphere and gives a bad rep to the business. I am very pleased with the business and even bought a pearl bracelet when I went to the Visalia location. Definitely recommend nothing waisting your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBought a 1 carat total (1/3 carat center) heart weddingband/engagement ring for my (now) wife two years ago. I payed a fair amount, however I was given a discount. The lady at the time was very nice and helpful. We've had the ring resized and replated since then (white gold) and we've always had a great experience and cheap pricing until recently.
This last time however was shortly after we got married. She wanted to have the rings soldered together, and also had them redo the white gold. During the solder process the jeweler got it too hot and the ring got a nice discoloration along the band. They didn't see it themselves until we pointed it out.
Fortunately Ms. Tess, the manager, was there and quickly went into action. She sent it back to get it re polished. After it returned the tarnish was STILL there. To say the least Ms. Tess wasn't pleased with the jewelers performance, and had it redone again with the rhodium and re polished, all while giving us back 100 dollars from the 145 dollar they originally charged us.
A couple weeks after we got it back (which took a month from the screw ups), a diamond fell out. We took it back and Ms. Tess got us an estimate to replace the lost diamond for 100 dollars and get it back to us by the weekend.
With this kind of treatment and impressive responses, why would you want to goto...
