I went with an Adult Transition Program class to The Hanford Mall. In the food court I was taking photos of the light coming through the ceiling windows, and an assistant manager asked why I was taking photos. I said for fun, and for Google Reviews. I asked him if he wanted me to stop, and he said we could talk with the manager. So we took a long walk down a hallway, and then the manager called the assistant manager on the phone. I tried to explain why I was taking photos, but it seems they have never heard of Google Reviews. She sound very concerned when she said" But why are you taking photos of the ceiling?" At that time, I did not have the time to explain what art is to the manager. So she said just don't do it, which was a waste of my time, and gained me nothing. Perhaps this attitude is why the Hanford Mall is a ghost town, with many empty shops. People seem to be using the mall to travel between Kohls, Bed Bath & Beyond, and the Ross, but not to shop. A rude introduction to a place that isn't even worth visiting. So here is my suspicious photo of the ceiling. You may notice the water stains all over...

Read moreIn all my years of living in Hanford California never once has this movie theater been serious about IDing an individual but the one time me and my homeboys and homegirls want to watch the new conjuring (who are all 18 btw) they all of a sudden want to start asking for IDs. Three out of 5 of us had IDs to purchase tickets but when it came to the two others without an ID they wouldnt let them buy it which okay that’s to be expected but when one of us with an ID offered to pay they turned us down so we found someone who was 21 to get them in and the workers still refused and turned them away. One of the workers even had an attitude which was highly unnecessary and uncalled for. It was a very frustrating experience especially when we had bought tickets already. I’ve seen rated R movies with my friends without being ID’d when we were all not 18 at that time. This highly inconsistent policy enforcement makes it very frustrating...
