For the safety of yourself and your belongings I do not recommend staying here as I was visiting from out of town. I stood here with multiple family members. On the day of our check out my iPad went mysteriously missing. When i did FindMy iPad it was pinging at the hotel. They asked house cleaning and no one turned it in. Throughout the day, from morning to evening my iPad kept pinging in different locations of the hotel, which leads me to believe it is an employee moving around the hotel. I had to call the police and they went out to the hotel but again no one would turn it over. Finally the location changed and had an address where the officer was able to go and recover my stolen iPad. But they cracked my iPad. I provided them with my screenshots of the constant pinging, the address of the house, the police officers phone number and a run down of all my movement while I was at the hotel that morning. The hotel is taking no responsibility and claiming it is not any of their employees. It seems like common sense that the iPad pinged all day in multiple locations of the hotel and that the iPad was found in a home only 6 miles away from the hotel that it would be an employee. They had the nerve to say that they get a lot of locals staying at their hotel. Im sorry but who is going to choose to pay to stay at a hotel only 6 miles away? This is definitely a cover up for either the employee or for the hotel not having to take responsibility and replace my iPad. Front desk girls were nice but manager just didn't even seem to care. She only kept repeating, "We will do an investigation. Like I said, we will do an investigation. Okay again we will do an investigation." The iPad was never removed from the room so I believe that when i went downstairs, there was a moment that the room was left empty and housekeeping was just doors away. They may have knocked thinking we checked out because I did walk out with my daughter to take her to the car. They may have expected to do in to clean but saw my bags were still there. I think they saw the iPad at this time and took it. Myself and my niece checked the room twice before leaving the hotel and there were no items left behind. This is why I know it wasn't a matter of me forgetting it in the room.
Adding this last part as they hotel responded but I cannot respond to them. In the last email i received from the hotel it was stated that they were unable to get a hold of the officer and only were able to reach his voice mail. Never did they tell me they spoke to the officer. Yet, without talking to the officer they stated they concluded their thorough investigation and found that they were not at fault and that it was not an employee. How can you conclude your "Thorough" investigation without even talking to the officer?
Additionally they state a "good Samaritan" turned in my iPad, which is false. A good samaritan would have turned the iPad in to the location it was found. Not held onto it for 8 plus hours, turn the iPad off, take it home with them and then only turn it over when the cops came knocking on their door looking for it. They used a fake burner FB account to act like they posted it, but was only posted minutes...

Every time we ask for something completely reasonable we were treated as an inconvenience. I felt because we were there on an insurance claim rather than vacation or business we were treated differently than the other guests, like we didn't belong there.

We brought it up to the management and the housekeeping. But instead of returning the blanket properly and apologizing, they put it back in our room and pretended like nothing happened. I don't like being lied to. It is a sign of absolute disrespect, and an insult to my intelligence.
When I brought this up to the management, that I was displeased with the way they handled it, they decided not to renew our stay, and expected us to check out when my insurance company had approved a stay for two more weeks.
