I've been a big fan for a very long time, but I had to leave a 5 star review today after what just happened.
To start things off, I do have to say that Pieology has the best pizza in town. Their pies beat out all the major chains, and even Fatte Albert's. The ingredients Pieology use is superior to the rest when it comes to freshness, taste, and to top it off, they have a huge variety if toppings. Another plus is they have beer on tap. I always go with the house crust and sauce.
But today makes my 5 star review because they showed a tremendous rebound situation, and put it back in to beat the buzzer, clutch shot (I apologize about the basketball reference, couldn't help it, lol). I placed an online order because I was at work and needed a quick pickup for lunch. The order was placed at 1pm, and the receipt said it would be ready for pick up at 1:23. I thought I'd give them a good buffer, so I arrived for pick up at 1:36. In my mind, there should be no reason why my order shouldn't be ready. Just my luck, not only was my order not ready, I was informed they havent even started on it yet. I wanted to blow up and cause a scene, but I didnt. I bit my tongue, sat down, and got on my phone to send a complaint on their app. Right as I pushed "send", the young lady that helped me out apologized for their mistake, and gave me a free soda and coupon for a free pizza. Damn, now I feel hella bad for her, because she actually kept calm and handled the situation well from the beginning. I just wish she would have done that early on before I sent my complaint.
But I'm making it up for her now. Pieology management, if ever you read this review, I commend Bailey. She was very kind and courteous.

We walk in and they say “we’ll be with you in a moment.” Today there were four girls in the front working and at least two guys in the back who looked out the door at us several times. The four girls are working on to-go orders and stop to talk to each other frequently yet none of them feel compelled to take our order. After at least 6 or 7 minutes this time, (longer in the past) of not being helped, I asked to speak to the manager. If the girls were friendly on any of the visits, I would have gladly waited, but they don’t acknowledge us or even look at us after the initial interaction. We’ve waited much longer in the past and when they finally take our order, they’re unfriendly and abrupt. We felt like we were a nuisance to them by being there. After requesting to speak to the manager, and informing him why we wouldn’t be returning to his place of business, he did apologize but when we turned to leave, the girls sarcastically yelled bye to us. Read moreWOW! I came to Pieology this morning (07/12/2022) with a few friends visiting from out of town. There are so many awesome pizza places in Hanford, but I am so happy I selected Pieology. The service and food were just phenomenal, but phenomenal does not cover it. We were served by Hanna(h?) who was such a welcoming, bubbly individual that made the entire experience SO FUN and engaging. She made our food perfectly, always checking in to ensure that it was being made to our standards. She seriously went above and beyond what you would expect. We believe we saw the manager, which is refreshing to see his presence too. The food was AMAZING. We ate the entire thing, which does not normally happen at other chains. Solid ingredients, cooked impeccably. If you are looking for a great, clean place to eat incredible food...come here. The service is unbeatable.
