Today, I walked out of this store without purchasing anything. When I first walked into the store, I spent some time perusing the items in the front area. I was not greeted as I entered the store but could hear the employees back by the register talking and laughing. As I headed to the center of the store, one of them finally greeted me. By then, I had an armful of clothes I had selected to try on. There was one employee restocking and organizing on the floor. I asked her for a dressing room and she begrudgingly took my clothes and set me up. She never came back to tell me she had set me up but I am assuming she put the clothes in a room. Who knows? She barely grunted in response when I had asked her. When I was finished selecting some more items, I found the floor employee and asked her if she had set up a room for me. Without turning around to reply, she responded "yea'. I stood there for a good half minute and then asked her if I could just head back to the dressing room with my other items. She responded, "No, because it is locked." Again, she made no eye contact and did not bother to even turn around from her task. I stood holding my items for another half a minute and finally just said, "I think I will just leave." From the moment I walked in there, I felt unwelcome. I do not expect to be waited on hand and foot and actually like having some space to shop, but the rudeness of these employees today was unbelievable. Nobody that rude will ever get my business. Read moreI went in to your store on Saturday and made several purchases. One of your associates working on 3/30/2019 at around 3pm told me if I signed up for a credit card that it would save me 40% on my purchse and that the check was a SOFT hit and would not affect my credit. I asked her if she was sure as I did not want my credit run and she assured me it would not affect it. That was a blatant lie because I now have an inquiry on my credit report and have lost points. Also, once that was done, she proceeded to tell me that with the current deal, the 40% off could not be honored, so I signed up for nothing. I love this company but I will NEVER set foot in this store again. I have also filed a dispute with my equifax over the hit to my credit.
So I've reached out multiple times and the only thing I've gotten is an email saying my concern has been fowarded to the correct party. So does your company just not care that one of your employees is either too stupid to know her job or...
Read moreNot a great place to go if you're in a wheelchair or have other mobility devices. There was pretty much one "lane" of traffic that I could wheel through; other areas were so cluttered with rolling racks of clothes and jewelry that I couldn't fit, even in a somewhat narrower manual chair.
Also, when I got something that I wanted to try on, there was already someone in the accessible fitting room and the representative put me in one of the regular rooms. I was able to get in by doing a weird two point turn and banging the crap out of my knuckles, which I didn't really appreciate.
The associates were otherwise very helpful and I love the clothes, but it's way easier to get around in Lane Bryant. That's where I'll be...
