My family has been visiting Harwich Port and shopping at Port-O-Call since my mother was a child decades ago. Today my daughters went with their father to buy souvenirs. My daughters selected a necklace each for themselves, but just after leaving the store my eldest daughter's necklace broke. She was very upset and crying on the front step! The owner came out to see what was the matter, and did everything in her power to make it right - truly going ABOVE AND BEYOND. We have been loyal patrons of Port-O-Call for decades (and three generations), and will be loyal patrons for decades more. The love and kindness that this shop has shown my family helping to select souvenirs, and count out money, and providing perfect unique objects to allow us to cherish the memory of the Cape for years. horrible. the lady working saw i was eating a candy bar and then cornered me in the store and would not let me move. took 10 mins to explain that i can’t have food, then i was like ok ill leave and she talked to my friends about how mad i looked. was truly not that deep if she told me that no food allowed and left it at that it would be fine but she made it a huge scene for no reason and caused an embarrassment. there was no one else in the store and no reason for her to make such a scene. again if she just explained to me quickly i couldn’t eat in there i would...
