Walking to our car after a quick lunch at The Busted Nut in Hastings we spied this tiny popcorn and candy shop. We are big popcon addicts! Have purchased a great deal of the Palo and Great American brands. This little place beats the pants off the larger company's! Cheesy Caramel was decadently covered with a rich, buttery caramel and enough Cheddar cheese flavor to complement the sweetness. They use palm oil and it gives it the wondeful mouthfeel you can't get with vegetable oils. About the best popcorn we've ever had! Lots of old school candy favorites I remember from being a kid too. Zots, Necco Wafers, candy cigarettes, etc... Quite a bit of variety for a small shop. If you are ever going through Hastings, ya gotta check out this popcorn!...

We were in Hastings so my wife could shop the Antique stores when I noticed this popcorn place. It is a cute little shop with awesome popcorn and quaint old timey candies, I noticed some original Moon Pies. But, I was there for the popcorn. I got a Cheese and Carmel blend, it was delicious. Quaint little shop off to the side. Owner so nice. Homemade popcorn and hard to find candies I haven't seen since the late 70s. Unique items as well and some VERY good chocolate bars in like 14 different flavors. Alot of old school stuff : taffy, rock candy and a 5 foot tube you can custom fill from machine with different flavored pixie dusts...
