Incredibly good solo distiller on the big island! Awesome, unique flavors. We wished we had space in our luggage to take home a bottle of each. His space right now is tucked away around the back corner of a slightly industrial-looking strip. One you park, look for the sign in the corner. Not hard to find after that.
We visited most if not all of the breweries, distillers, and wineries on the island during our stay, and this humble little place was the stand-out highlight. We hope he gets a bigger tasting room and/or bar set up in the future. Regardless, this will be a must-stop for us the next time we're here.
Pay this man a visit and give him your support. These were some of the best honey spirits we've ever had ANYWHERE. Get the Reserve...

Come on Hawaii, ditch the corporate world and get...
Read moreI can see why the reviews of this place are so fantastic! Not only is all their honey-based liquor amazing (and grain-free!), but Sam & Dave, the owners, are incredibly knowledgeable and kind, especially when we spent an hour trying different drinks and chatting about what to do while on the Kona side. This is a must-visit while you're in Kona, not only because the tasting is delicious and affordable, but especially if you're looking for something uniquely Hawaiian to bring home and love supporting locally-owned companies. Dave even showed us around the distillery in the back before we had...
