Kona ali is a block to be avoided facing busy road with xsrs all night playing loud music and boom boxes.We booked penthouse 710 via big island stays a business to be avoided as they are agents for the owners but take no responsibility for the description of the unit the rear roof terrace on 710 overlooks a busy road and loud music bars till 3am and car park.We stayed 1 night out of 4 and got a hotel for 3 nights on the sea quiet and cheaper than booking this apartment. They did refund 3 nights but kept over $700 saying cleaning fee was $325 not bad considering we stayed 14 hours and only used 1 bed and 4 toweis.Avoid location abd avoid booking via bid island stays vrbo are now also aware of...

I stayed in room 401, and the condo was great. It had everything you would need from beach towels, cooler, washer/dryer, full kitchen, comfortable bed, very clean, modern decor, great view, close to shops and restaurants, and so much more. The staff was great at communicating and even checked in to see if I needed anything. The condominium is pretty secure as well. The condominium is in the downtown district, so there is some noise from the traffic and restaurants/bars, but it didn't stop me from getting a good sleep in. I would recommend this room...

Great views. You can see the sunset from the lanai. Located within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping. There are a lot of homeless but hey don't really bother anyone that I saw except for 2 of them at different times were cussing out everyone they saw. Brief though.

Worst thing is the constant parade of boom cars and vehicles with loud engines. So noisy. All day and evening. Awoken several times each night by one. Even worse on the weekend. I don't know why they don't crack...
