Firstly, shout out to Victoria Silva and her boss, Mark Hanna. I happened to walk into this gallery while visiting Kona and I immediately felt at home. There are several galleries on the same street and I went to all of them, and trust me this is the one to go to. All the galleries are nice but the amount of selection at Kona Oceanfront is unmatched. You can find handmade items as cheap at $30, all the way up to giant originals worth tens of thousands. There is something for everyone, which is why I love this place so much. I bought a LTD Edition (print on Giclee) Walfrido, 2 pieces from a up and coming artist named Wang Ge who uses sand to create her pieces, and I also bought a small seahorse etched in Koa wood. What I love about this gallery is that there is so much variety and, most importantly, they support local artists which is very important to me.
The number one thing I like about Kona Oceanfront, is the people. My consultant is named Victoria and within 5 minutes of talking she felt like my best friend. She helped me pick the perfect pieces for me, and NEVER EVER pressured me. One of the pieces I got delivered had a broken frame and Kona Oceanfront sent me a new one for free, no questions asked. Ask for Victoria if you want a knowledgeable and trustworthy art consultant. She is so sweet and will take care of you. Thank you Again Victoria if you see this.
In closing, at the very least go in, see the beautiful pieces, and if you decide to buy anything you can rest easy you’ll get what you’re paying for....
Read moreMy son Brighton Blair and I stopped in the other night and met Victoria. Wow! Despite the fact that it was almost 9:00 pm, she enthusiastically greeted us and gave us a personal tour. While doing this, she graciously greeted every person who continued to walk in the door, so energetic and knowledgeable. I am blown away by her, to the point that I am writing this days later. The art found throughout the gallery carries a wide range of local styles and beauty, all sophisticatedly presented. Definitely a place to stop in...
Read moreThis was an amazing gallery while it was open. I last visited 4 years ago and was looking forward to visiting again based on Google maps but when I got there it was closed. There was graffiti on the window and looked like it had closed down permanently a while ago. Google maps isn't publishing my edit to show that it's permanently closed so hopefully this will save someone from the...
