First things first, it’s hard to trust a business’ reviews when they trade off stickers for 5 star ⭐️ reviews… so here is some truth between the mixes.

This place is not horrible, but it also isn’t great. They have a wide range of selection on their menu but it can get steep in price for shaved ice 🍧 On the menu there are local favorites/selections with hawaiian names. They have multiple ice cream selections to choose from and different sizes as well.

As others have mentioned… the shaved iced portions are HUGE but they leave you empty handed when 50% of the ice has no flavor because the syrup can’t reach the middle. The dishes they serve them in get soggy really fast not giving you a lot of time to finish your treat. When served your shaved ice, they place it on the counter which is covered in syrup and leaves your dish sticky on the bottom the whole time you’re holding it. Cleanliness can be an easy fix but when multiple people are complaining about it, there doesn’t seem to be any result of it.

Overall, I can't recommend this place.. I'd look elsewhere to satisfy that sweet tooth! Ok.. so I love shaved ice and this just ain't it. The problem isn't too little syrup. The main problem is the way the ice is served doesn't allow the insane amount of syrup to reach the center of it despite the staff poking extra holes to try to get it there. Yes they have a sign telling you to come ask for more syrup... But mine was already drowning in it too begin with and I literally could not finish it because it was so much syrup. The service was pretty good if a bit slow. They had like 3-4 people working and still took almost 10 mins to get my order when I was the next person waiting. But they were all very kind and clearly doing what they've been trained to do based on signage and other reviews. The styrofoam or whatever it is bowl is not ideal and you need real spoons!! Wooden spoons like they use as sample spoons or for the ice cream cups that we got in bulk as kids is not cutting it for a huge bowl of shaved ice.
