Surf In The City — Local services in Hawaii

Thieves I gave my credit card to hold for renting a surfboard from Koa Beach Service as they required. I have never used the card for anything else and I am now at home and received my credit card statement and there are some strange charges. I called Koa Beach Service, that I left my card with as required by them. I asked the girl answering why I am seeing some strange charges on my credit card and she said I needed to talk to Ron. So I waited a while and boss guy finally answered and I tried to explain about the strange charges, but he just tried to out talk me and said his staff are honest. I tried to explain again, but he again out talked me by saying they are honest. I just gave up on trying to explain and hung up. Disputed the charges and asked for a replacement with new credit...

Surf in the City is an amazing local place to rent beach equipment and I can’t recommend them enough to anyone staying in Waikiki. They’re located a few blocks from the beach and are super well stocked with all different types of beach needs including surf/paddle boards and kayaks!) A young brown haired woman was working when we dropped by and had already prepped our reserved items and had them waiting by the door. We were running a bit late and she was so flexible in allowing us to upgrade our reservation from 1/2 day to a full day so that we could get the most out of the chairs and umbrella. Aloha. This is Pam and Gager. We would like to thank Ron and his staff for the use of his beach gear. We rented the umbrella, 2 chairs and the cart. A very nice cart I might add. He also threw in a regular umbrella because it was going to rain the next few days. Everything was much easier with his beach gear. Very well kept and we got a lot of nice comments on the set up. Ron is the perfect example of Hawaii. Layed back and very nice. He also went out of his way and offered to pick up the gear so we didn't have to walk back to his place. Mahalo..
