John helped me choose the right mountain bike for me without trying to upsell me. Mountain View is the local Framed Bikes dealer and provides great options to save some money. The service is great, too. The rims on my Framed fat bike have been a challenge to convert to tubeless but John and his crew were able to get it done. Some bike shops can make a beginner feel inferior but I've felt welcomed and respected by everyone at the shop. I'm the guy with a lot of questions from doing my research and John has been very gracious helping me wade through all the options. They have earned all my bicycling business.
Update: Since buying my fatbike 3 years ago my family has purchased three more bikes at Mt. View! The crew has provided great service when we needed tune ups or repairs even on my daughter's enduro bike she found used when bikes were really scarce. Be patient when needing parts, the supply chain has gone crazy the last two years. The bike industry was hit exceptionally hard worldwide with the demand for bikes and parts. I upgraded the drivetrain on my enduro bike this week and didn't have all the tools to quite finish so I called and popped over and they took care of it for me between other jobs they have going. I just enjoy being in the shop and talking bikes, etc. with everyone there. Thank you again, John, for providing a great service to your customers.

Read moreWe went to the shop in August 2021. We were told that it would take two months to get Ebikes if we ordered that day. The young kid who was “helping” us kept trying to talk me into a small bike for my 5’5” frame. I have always ridden a taller bike. I’m 50+ years old and know how to ride. The kid kept arguing with me and would not order the large bike for me. I finally said just forget it I’ll get a bike some where else. My husband ordered a large bike for himself and talked the kid into getting me a medium size bike. I was but tired of arguing with the boy: Our bikes arrived end of October. Mine had a large scratch on the paint & no rear rack. Shop would not let me in as a mask is required and gave us $100 off due to the large scratch of missing paint. These bikes were $1800 each. I hate my “medium” size bike my husbands large is way more comfortable. This shop needs to listen to the customer. I would NEVER buy anything from ...
Read moreWe purchased two Aventon brand bicycles from Mountain View Cyclery, Every aspect of our experience was outstanding. We chose this bike shop as they are an authorized dealer to the Aventon line of bikes. Troy, was most helpful in the buying process. Taking as much time from his schedule as we needed to thoroughly explain the particular model we were interested in. There was absolutely zero pressure to buy. Jack, was very helpful in answering questions we had by telephone and ultimately at delivery. John the business owner goes above and beyond to ensure the customer is taken care of. Amy and I really appreciate all you have...
