Bigg E Meats — Local services in Hays

I talked to 3 different people to order a ribeye loin. We ordered it cut into 1 inch steaks. Don’t get me wrong. When the steaks were picked up, they hadn’t been cut yet. My husband told the employee then to cut the loin into 1in steaks. The steak looks delicious except, they were cut into 1 1/2 in thick steaks. We buy these for our steak night so we where short a few steaks. When I called back the person I talked to made every excuse blaming others . Very disappointed not able to follow directions. If we return, we will need to double check our order before paying....

The prime rib we ordered was delicious. Unfortunately, the order was incorrect by a large degree, favoring themselves. When I went to pick it up, I was told that it was "a little more than what [we] ordered". My wife made the order, so I didn't know how much the order was and didn't baulk at 'a little more'. I discovered that 'a little more' was 50% more. A pound or so over ten pounds at $14/lb is a little more, not half again as much. We will probably think twice about ordering here again, but if we do, we'll certainly make sure the order is correct before getting out...

Stopped on our way through town on our way back home to NC - NC has TERRIBLE beef. We were so happy to find Bigg E Meats!!! First, the staff was super helpful and very very nice - Next, the selection is terrific: All the steaks, of course, but also bratwurst and other types of sausages, seasonings, etc. Weren't sure what we would think, but OMG!! The beef is AMAZING! The prices are what's to be expected, but not shocking by any means. We spent $200 and got A LOT for the money! Hopefully they ship to NC! Definitely will be back on our next...
