Do not go to the salon, this is only second time I've been here and the work is terrible I can barely express the fact that they don't know how to even blow dry hair. I do a better job at my home while I'm rushing. Not to mention the fact that she didn't even wash my hair completely. I even mentioned that the back of my head wasn't wet. I left with frizzy hair that still slightly damp. The manager was also very defensive. Just as a reference point I have worked in salons for 20 years and I've never had this experience. I don't think they check the "stylists" work before hiring them, or they don't care or maybe both. And on top of everything it was 42.00 and they charge more to use a flat iron. Lol...
Read moreTruthfully, this store is a three and a half star experience. We're too small of a town for someplace like Kohls, and it feels like this JCP is trying to fill that role. Problem is, they're trying to cram that experience into 60% of the floor space. You can tell the recently-opened Sephora gives them a traffic bump, especially on the weekends; but the layout of the rest of the store has suffered because of it. That said, it is nice to have a place in a small town that you can get some decent dress...

Despite the struggling surrounding businesses JCPENNEY has managed to maintain its foothold in the iconic mall of Hays America.
