A new store.. It can be easily spotted from the street. Love the variety and selectoons!!! Found almost everything I expect from a Seafood City Supermarket. The place is clean and organize. The service at the counter could use some improvement. I was there around 4pm - only two cashiers are open with so manu people shopping. A bit pricey than other Filipino/Asian stores, even from other Seafood City from other locations... (maybe because it’s new?). I bought 6 items and they already cost $17 (see pics below). There are resto to dine in - Grill City and Noodle Street (haven’t tried them from here yet). Jollibee will open soon which I’m very excited for!! We don’t have to go all the way to Union City then it’s so close to Chabot College~ ohh I hope it wouldn’t be too crowded when I go. :D There’s also ATLAS and M Lhuillier where you can send your money and packages to the...
Read moreI called 3 different times between 8 and 845. Chose different dept selections, stayed on phone each time between 4 to 8 rings and no one answered. I didn't know what time the fresh fish dept closed and would be coming by bike and bus. Is this typical to experience no one picking up the phone, even after several rings and a few calls and departments chosen? I decided to call Island Pacific - also on Hesperian, but near San Lorenzo. Little further from my home, but not much. An employee picked up after 1 or 2 rings. It was within the similar times that I called Seafood City. The employee answered question of when THAT store departments closed. Also confirmed the store hours open to close. She was helpful and polite. I've never been to Island Pacific. but I was impressed by the phone help I got. I think this is GOODBYE TO SEAFOOD CITY AND HELLO TO ISLAND...
Read moreThis used to be rite aid, did not think this place would be a grocery store later on lol....but this is double the size in ssf. But since they just opened, service and efficiency is Greatly lacking. MANAGEMENT pls hire more folks and better train them cz its annoying to be in line for 20 mins or longer just to place your order, when staff don't even what know items are being served...pls have proper preparation when opening your store.
Didn't try the fresh produce and was in a rush but wanted to grab some of their skewers at grill city and desserts at the noodle house...so not bad especially when you're craving Filipino foods.
Just like ssf, they have breakfast deals which is a must to get when one is craving for the Filipino silog breakfast. Would suggest to get 4 skewers for better deal, plus get their Filipino breakfast (3plates for 12 or 13...
