The store features a large storefront that is somewhat hidden from the main road on Hesperian. They offer a wide selection of Lego sets, both boxed and pre-built, as well as loose bins for customers to purchase individual pieces for their builds. However, my three star rating is due to poor communication over the phone and the low offer I received for my sets. I called two days prior to my visit to confirm whether the store buys Legos and was informed that they buy, sell, and trade. Unfortunately, that was the extent of the information provided over the phone.
I took apart my Lego sets, organized them in bags along with the manuals, and brought them to the store to sell. Once I arrived, the gentleman behind the counter informed me that to receive a higher offer, the sets should've been brought fully assembled. He advised me to take them home, rebuild them, and come back. While he did not specify how much more I would receive if the sets were built, I was frustrated that the person I spoke with on the phone had not mentioned any of the requirements. Had I been informed, I would've brought the sets fully assembled in a box the following day. The offer made for the disassembled sets was so low that it wouldn’t have even covered the cost of one set.
Ultimately, I chose to part ways with my Legos and took the offer and will no longer be going back to that store. Not only will I not be returning for any future business, I can't consciously recommend the store to other Lego enthusiasts looking to sell their sets. It might be worth visiting for purchasing Lego items, and that depends on whether their prices...
Read moreFound the MOST UNIQUE lego car my 4yo wanted. We were at the store at 4:45, so it was almost their closing time, I took my 4yo inside to find lego that he wants. Went around the store, and the owner waited patiently and showed some really cool options, some lego cars and dump truck Legos. After 10 mins inside the stores looking at all the legos. My son couldn't seem to find anything that he liked yet (thats within out budget), but then he suddenly stopped and took one of the lego car that seemed.. a little different than the others and said "I want this one". It's a police car lego, with 3 figures: 1 cop and 2 bad guys. My son loved it and when I ask to the shop owner, turned out that was built by is 5yo kid, and the kid intended to sell it at the store. I must say his kid KNOWS his target audience well. So my son picked this toy, and has been bringing it to bed, and just play with it all weekend. Definitely coming back.
General review: A lot of great Legos, rare ones too. Lots of them are already built! So if you're looking for great, unique, lego sets or even if you're missing pieces from your lego sets and need to find replacement, this place is the right...
Read moreI went there to sell my old legos they offered $75 for a set that resells for 350 to 600. I also brought a bunch of minifigures each worth over $3 each rare lego peices and a bunch of lego tires. They didn't even look through they just looked at it for a second and then walked away. I stood there waiting for a response but they continued on. I had to get there attention at one point and they said oh 95 for everything. Mind you I brought two lego sets on really big one and a okay size one and a bunch of minifigures. I was very frusturated because on there website they say they give fair prices and look at minifigures and price by its value they didnt do any of that. If you want to sell your legos do not go there you are better off selling online seriously. The store is cool though lots of very cool items and the stuff in it is priced somewhat fair but DO NOT sell your stuff their its...
