I lost my wedding ring, the one my husband picked out for me and purposed with. I was devastated, but knew it was a new chance to get the ring I had always desired. After shopping around for 2-3 years, I just couldn’t find what I wanted. I had an image in my head and there was no ring to be found. I had a friend suggest to me to have it custom made. I spent about 5 minutes with Micah at Innovative Jewelers and he said he would send me some emailed pictures of what he thought I wanted. My mind was blown away, it was the exact ring I had pictured in my head. I have proudly worn my ring since 2017 and I get compliments daily. I also work in the dental field and I have never had any issues (knock on wood) with gloves. For those who don’t know, gloves can ruin the prongs that hold the diamond. Occasionally I pop in and have Micah get my ring sparkly clean again, because sourdough does get stuck in those prongs, and he is always kind and happy to give it a quick sparkle! I cannot wait to have him design more jewelry for me that I have been dreaming of!...

Micah and his lovely wife, Heidi rock! My one of a kind personally designed wedding ring no longer fit over my knuckle due to arthritis and Dupeytrens. My ring size was 5.5-6.0 but my knuckle was about 7.5-8.0. I know this because Heidi & Micah ordered a special finger sizer that cinches like a belt. No wonder my knuckle was bloody from struggling to get my wedding ring on and off! Micah ordered a Clique hinge and very carefully crafted a solution to my dilemma. Without changing the look of my custom design ring he modified the internal width of the band so it could accommodate the hinge. I now can proudly wear my new elegantly redesigned wedding ring—pain free. Heidi gave me her secret on keeping the hinge “gunge free”—Windex! Photos don’t do it justice! Micah would have made my grandmother proud. She passed away over 30 years ago but this was her anniversary ring nearly 51 years ago and has been my wedding ring for nearly 30. The band was original but the jacket was an add on that never quite fit the band, and the band got very thin. It also got caught on everything and as you can see from the photos, bent. It was time for a total redesign. I was very nervous as this was an original band and I didn’t want to ruin the legacy of the ring, but it had to be completely rebuilt in order to last another 50+ years. Micah suggested we drop the crown to not sit so high and make a wider band. He also replaced a few of the smaller missing diamonds and restructured the prongs on the jacket. It turned out AMAZING!!!
