Its been a while since I attended and only did so out of necessity one Sunday. Communion in the hand only, no altar rail and a rock band was playing. My husband and I have traveled extensively, and this is the only church we've been to which demands that people who receive Holy Communion on the tongue leave the line they're in and go to a line by the side wall of the church to receive. When I come to visit my grandchildren, I'm expected to leave my grandchildren's line in order to receive Holy Communion in this pious way, and I feel very uncomfortable doing that.
