Not one person welcomed me or my family. One guy griped about holding the door open for us. We had to find our way to the main worship with no help from anyone. The only person that talked to me was another visitor. Their website has FRIENDLY all over it. It was quite the eye opening experience being that it was Christmas Day.
I have certainly learned to be more welcoming at my home church. I also think alot of people are going to be surprised when it comes time to meet God.
As for the service itself, the sermon was extremely hard to hear although I have perfect hearing. Speaker also performed an act during his sermon where he purposely brought his son up to the pulpit then began talking to him away from the microphone.

Read moreThis Church is very active. No matter your age, there are quite intense activities. Activities have included mission trips to McAllen, Texas and surrounding areas, hikes up Colorado mountains, skiing in Colorado, overseas mission trips, service projects around Houston such as helping widows take care of their yards, working at the homeless ministries in inner-city Houston, nursing home visits, senior-citizen's trips to various museums and events, marriage retreats, marriage seminars, family retreats, family seminars, youth camping trips, debt management seminars etc.

(Sure, you can ask but they can also lie. If they even give you time to ask, the teachers didn't even introduce themselves at drop off.) But worse than that, it shows that they don't trust their members or visitors. Who wants to go to a church were parents are views as predators? We talked to several members and they were shocked by the situation also. And the signs next to the classroom doors say that parents of children can enter. Seems like no one has any idea what the policy is. Some one at the church responded to this review, and they clearly don't even know the...
