1st of all, it isn’t in Katy Freeway (which is a huge bonus in my book.) I only gave this three stars for a few reasons. I believe that it is indicative of my experience and I believe that this establishment has the chance to really make it here. 1. The price. Nothing was exceptionally former or fancy, which is what it should have been for the price. Even special touches would heave helped justify the extra $$$. 2. Organization is lacking. The cashier took my order and then the women who were arranging our order to go had to interrupt the cashier as they were taking someone else’s order to get the receipt. I have no idea why they don’t have a system to pass it back. It would help a lot. 3. Continued organization and communication issues. There were two women working with the pastries and packaging them for customers. (Neither were masked, which at this point seems more personal than anything else in today’s political climate, but I would expect service to most restricted audience. Otherwise it drives customers away.) They were both working on the same order at the same time without talking with one another. So they had to reshelve some items that they had already packaged. It slowed things down and felt really sloppy professionally. 4. Attention to detail. On top of all of this, I was handed a bag which looked fabulous and made my way to my car to deliver pastries to my family, when I am chased down by one of the two women in the back in a frantic rush because she thought she gave me the wrong food and she had another bag in her hand for me. She asked me my order, I repeated it back to her, and she said, “oh! You do have the right food!” So, that’s great, but that should have been determined when they were building the order. The pastries themselves tasted good. Nothing too fancy, but good. I think working on the service side will be a huge help as well as either dropping prices or raising the luxury level of the items given. The best of the offerings we selected were the Almond Croissant. If it stays the same, I will just head over to shipleys.

We discovered this cute bakery by accident. We came visit a coffee shop in the same plaza, and decided to walked around, then we saw this cute , tiny outdoor bakery. They have seats outdoors, and the bakery itself is a closed stand, kiosk. They deco their register area with seasonal items (sunflower, pumpkin, heys…) We decided to stopped by an order, the guy at the register was very very friendly, nice, and professional. We went with his recommendation - chocolate chip cookies 🍪 was great 👍🏻 - double chocolate chip cookies (dark chocolate with white chocolate chips) was a little too sweet, but still yummy - everything croissant 🥐 was surprisingly yummy, it was a little too sweet salty, and creamy (cheese filling inside) - chocolate croissant was good - the highlight was the Brioche Bun 🫶❤️🎊🎊🎊🎊 , the sugar sprinkle outside was not sweet at all, the Bun was dense and fluffy at the same time. The custard cream inside was very creamy and Yummy (no sweet) - fresh strawberry ice cream was good - the matcha latte was alright (look green, but not much matcha flavored) 6/10. Their price was pretty good for the portion and quality they offered. We will definitely be back to explore more breads and cookies.

Tiny’s at Memorial does not make the same cookie that I remember and always loved! I thought I was crazy, but I came two times several weeks apart and the cookies are totally different from how they used to be. Maybe it’s just this location, but the cookies now are: - flat -oily - and have minimal cookie or chocolate flavor, all you can taste is oil/butter -the texture is also kind of gummy and the cookie itself is floppy They used to be: -thick -firmer -good mouth texture and not oily Also, this is probably TMI but I literally won a blind cookie tasting contest event about two years ago, and I knew when it was a (good) Tinys cookie because it blew the rest of the cookies in Houston out of the water. Now it’s just more of the sad oily flat cookies. To make sure I wasn’t remembering wrongI went back and looked at old google reviews and new ones to show the clear difference in cookie. You can see them attached. My only question is why? Seriously, why kill the golden goose!

I was overly excited about he new location, as soon as I found out, I sped here with no regrets! Usually, I visit the Tiny's in Rice a few times a month, a 30-45min. drive, but well worth it! Expectations for this location was the same as the other.

Unfortunately, this place fell short. Once I arrived, there was a limited amount of parking. the person that was at the counter was having a longer than usual conversation with the guests before me. I had patience up until after the guests ordered, then she still continued the conversation. Finally moments after, the gentleman working behind her offered to take the counter. Thank goodness because I was ready for my dessert. i purchased 3 cookies and ordered the vanilla caramel crunch. The ice cream was soft and creamy, had a great consistency and sweetness to it. The cookies on the other hand, were extremely flat, very flimsy, under baked and lacked flavor. It tasted as if I was eating raw dough. The cookies didn't even hold their shape when you held it. It literally fell apart as soon as you took it out of the packaging.

2 stars because the gentleman saved the day and great location. This was definitely not like the Tiny's in Rice. Aim for lower expectations...
