GatorJJ3 Sports Cards — Local services in Hempfield Township

I almost hate to leave ANOTHER 5star review to go with the 80 other 5 star reviews because everyone is just gonna come to this shop and make more competition and more crowded but this is the PREMIER CARD SHOP in the Pittsburgh area. They make collecting fun again with decent prices and negotiable. Tables to sit and look through cards and break boxes. Owner personable. Location in mall convenient. That 2 star review is bologna. Give gators another shot i bet that 2 star review jumps to at least 4 stars. (I was not paid or asked to post this it is simply my observation of how these folks do business and treat customer especially young and new collectors at their shop and at card shows in the tri-state area)

Oh yeah they also donate to worthy causes like Sewickley library benefit to raise money and sewickley is at least an hour from there. Can't praise them enough. I guess my only recommendation would be to have an EVEN larger space, reclining chairs, a bar, large...

Brought in a lot worth around $1,500, full comps and expecting around 75-80% which included several big name graded cards. Worked with the owners son and he seemed interested and gave me a verbal offer pending his dad’s approval, for $1,100. He said his dad was right around the corner and would be there in 10 minutes. After almost an hour, he finally came and offered me $300 for the whole lot, which was less than GameStop was offering me for 1 one of the cards lol. Just disrespectful for my time.

The owner Joe is extremely kind, charismatic, annd enthusiastic about the card collecting hobby. His shop is top notch, organized, spacious and a one stop shop! The staff there was extremely helpful and there was plenty of tables and space to pick through a box of cards at your own pace if need be. I HIGHLY recommend checking out Gatorjj3 Sportscards, it was well worth the trip!
