If there were a negative (-) star rating I would be giving it to COMCAST for poor customer service and customer relations management. I have been attempting to get Comast hooked up to my house for the last 3 years. I have a 'Ticket' number from 2021. They actually came out and measured the distance to my house to verify the distance from the Comcast location on the pole. The Comcast rep/engineer that measured stated that I was under a certain distance and it wouldn't cost me any money for them to install cable. A couple of months later a couple of Comcast trucks showed up and ran the cable to the pole near my house. That was 3 years ago. To this date, I still can not get ANYONE from COMCAST to contact me, call me back, or follow up with me to connect my house to Comcast for TV and Internet. THIS is NOT how you run a business. COMCAST receives Government funding to provide service to rural areas. I just tried 5x to contact my local Comcast in Greensburg, PA. Finally was able to get through. I actually just spoke to a Comcast rep, 'Carter'. Very nice. Very professional. He doesn't understand why someone hasn't followed up with me either. 'Carter' took all of my contact information and stated that someone will be in touch with me shortly. I hope so. The irony of this entire situation is that my neighbor at the bottom of my driveway has had Comcast for the past 4 years, AND I, living across the road from him, can't even get Comcast to hook my house up for over 3 years!!!! In February, Comcast convinced me to sign a 2-year contract, promising a free phone as part of the deal. The phone never worked from the start. I brought it back several times, and instead of resolving the issue, they finally told me I had to send it back to Samsung. After sending it in, Samsung returned the phone, claiming there was nothing wrong with it.
Frustrated, I went back to Comcast on Friday, and the assistant manager, who admitted he knew nothing, was completely unhelpful. When I mentioned that having someone sign a 2-year contract for a phone that doesn’t work could be construed as fraud, he threatened to kick me out if I brought up legal action again. Then, when I tried to explain my side, he said he’d call the police—not once, but seven times. I told him to go ahead and call.
This experience highlights the terrible customer service at Comcast, where they don’t stand behind their products or contracts and instead resort to threats rather than providing solutions. I will never trust this company again.
I will never buy anything from this company again. I was jerked around today by xfinity and samsung. Neither will take responsibility for my phone that hasn't worked since i got it in february . Promises neither of them kept. Do not get a phone through them. They do not Stand behind their product. I cannot wait to end my obligation. Read moreThe worst. The absolute very worst customer service. I literally had to wait in line forever!! My poor mother was sitting in the hot car waiting for me (she is disabled). I was just "running in" to return a box. There were 2 people in the back with customers & a line. There was 1 guy in the front checking people in. That's it! Nothing else! He would check you in then do something on his phone?? What...I do not know? I highly doubt anything pertaining to work. You are going to tell me there is no way he could take care of customers? BULLS*!! He could of been waiting on customers & get the line down in half the time. The poor man in front of me had to be at least 80-83 no exaggeration. We waited for at 25 minutes. That poor old man in front of me ... my elderly, disabled mother in the extremely hot car waiting on me. Just another way Comcast screws me over. I hate Comcast...they literally rip me off every month, there customer service sucks. My husband literally fights with me every single month without fail to cancel Comcast & for some odd reason I defend it. I've had it. They do nothing to try to make me happy or appreciate my business.
