Bajamar Seafood & Tacos — Restaurant in Henderson

Such a cute little place and so happy they have a beer and wine license, that is so important location has struggled previously, but I’m hoping this one will survive. It’s worth heading two blocks off the beaten path of water Street and checking out. Prices are reasonable, I think portions should be a little larger. Not much just a little more. Like 2 shrimp in my taco? You can do better. Great flavor I think a punchcard or some type of incentive for frequent flyers would really make this place explode. Management has to realize most of their customers are going to be local repeat customers, it would be nice to get rewarded for frequent visits. There’s usually only one girl there when we go. She does a great job but can get overwhelmed quickly. I understand if they are consistently busy they probably would have another person on staff. Fingers crossed this place will stay !!!! My friend goes once a week consistently and I am every other week at this point Trying to find my favorites on the menu is impossible everything I’ve got so far...

Everything we ordered was full of flavor and super fresh. The Buffalo Shrimp Fries were loaded and messy in the best way…crispy fries, juicy shrimp, and just the right amount of sauce and crunch. For tacos, we had the Lucas Taco, Octopus Chicharron, Spicy Octopus, and Carne Asada. The octopus was cooked perfectly, not chewy at all…and had great texture and seasoning. The chicharron version added a crispy bite that made it even better.

We also had a Hibiscus Lemonade that was really refreshing, and ended with the flan, which was smooth and not overly sweet. Definitely a nice finish to the meal.

Service was fast and friendly, and the vibe in the restaurant was relaxed with fun wall art and TVs if you want to catch a game. Will absolutely be back, especially...

HIDDEM GEM ALERT! I have now tried both Bajamar locations in the Vegas market, and the Water Street location is by far superior. The food was excellent. Happy hour deals were good. Fish tacos are delicious, the Marlin taco (smoked tuna) was so good, almost tasted like bacon! The habanero salsa was the highlight of the meal. Perfect on everything. Shrimp cocktail was good by itself, but the salsa took it over the edge. Surf and turn fries were excellent. Bacon wrapped shrimp was to die for. This location is right off Water Street in what seems to be an abandoned mini strip mall/shopping center. If you’re not looking for it, you may not see it. If you are a mariscos fan, THIS IS A MUST TRY....
