Let me start by apoligizing to everyone out there who reads these reviews in an attempt to find either a place to go or a better place to go. Let me explain. You see I wrote a review in here a few weeks ago that wasn't all that flattering, having been there only the one time. Although what I wrote, I was feeling at the time, and I won't apologize for that. I told my truth. Thank God for re-reviews though, I think you know what I mean. So let me get to it. Since I wrote that, I've had a chance to go back a few times and I have to say Ive really enjoyed myself. I've even won a few times. I still don't like that min bet is a nickel, as I always find myself performing that last desparet act of switching to pennies when you only have 5 cents......or is that just me? Yeah right! Let's move on. One of the perks is you win nickel jackpots! Hey, a nickel on a 7 spot is $350 bucks baby! The staff over there are covid conscience, just the right amount of friendly and the bartender always remembers what I drink. Perfect. There's not one time I've gone in there and not felt welcome. I like that. I believe my first opinion about this place was that perhaps they had priced themselves out of the neighborhood. It's still a nickel min bet, but the outstanding staff can almost make you forget that. I've been there for every shift from graveyard to swing and it was same no matter what time it was. They're courteous round the clock. I highly recommend you and a partner of your choice go check it out. BTW...Live music Saturday nights. Well kids, I gotta go. Go visit The Pass and see for yourself. Have a good time and remember to drink...

We were run out by Jimmy the security guard who told us quote "it's against federal law to take pictures inside a casino" and Noone under 21 is allowed.
Btw, there is no federal law to this effect. The Casino as a private property owner can set its own rules. I have been personally invited to share my experience and images at many casinos. There are also many people like myself who live stream at casinos.
To be fair, we tried taking a few lobby pics. We never take any pics of the table games or other patrons. Like many others, we try to share some images with our reviews.
Given all the upgrades since Eldorado, the Pass is missing out on a huge opportunity to have patrons like us share all the new imagery. It's called earned media and in today's world its far more powerful than their own direct marketing efforts.
On a positive note is was cool to see all the new, more modern slot machines. The Eldorado was sorely lacking, but the Pass has clearly made the effort to go with current more popular games that I would have loved to share.
My son is 20 and he was asked to leave the property completely. He was not even allowed to wait in the entrance far from any gaming.
I guess you have to be 21 to access the restaurants here? When it was Eldorado we ate here...
Read moreWent to hear the husband of a friend of mine perform on the small stage the casino sports and was very pleasantly surprised at the talent this gentleman possesses, both vocally and with the two guitars he accompanied himself with. If you like country 🎶, Bill is the man to hear. He played from six-thirty to nine pm, but I believe this coming week he will start at five pm instead. Several of the listeners also danced various styles during the show, depending on the type of song played. One of the women is a line dance teacher, and I found some of the steps and moves quite creative. I got in one dance with one of the husbands.
I rated the experience only four stars because it was my first time there and because the stage is close to a rectangular bar and one of the bartenders periodically threw a beer bottle in the "empty" bin, which resulted in a loud and (for me) jarring CLINK every time she did this. I chose to sit on the left side of the stage instead of in front of it, so that's probably why it was so loud. Next time I know better. Bill is an excellent singer and performer with a pleasing voice and good stage presence, well worth hearing. So if you like country music 🎶, come to the Pass Casino on Water Street in Henderson, NV and have yourself a...
