Cuevas Meat Market — Local services in Henderson

Every trip to Cuevas Meat Market is reminiscent of my shopping experiences of 50+ years ago when trips to the neighborhood market were a daily errand. Cuevas is a small market in which one can get all the ingredients needed for supper that evening. There are bolillos, fresh and still warm from the oven, select produce for salad as well as the hot side-dish, and a superb cut of meat for tonight's entree. And I mustn't forget desert; perhaps some sweet pastries baked just that morning or perhaps I'll pick up all the ingredients to make one of my own specialties from scratch. The Cuevas Meat Market is nothing like those huge supermarkets where you find enormous mounds of vegetables and fruits that require picking through in order to find a few that haven't been bruised or cut during shipping. My trips to Cuevas are typically short and satisfying because I know where everything is and they don't have miles of aisles to trudge up & down. However, if I do need assistance, there is always someone nearby to lend a hand or friendly expertise. I'm not sure if I get more pleasure from the convenience, the food quality, the staff, or the atmosphere, but I do know the combination of all of them gives me more than enough reason to...

here I go again the store has quality vegetables but the meat is high in price and I'm talking 4 to 5 dollars more than the average of other markets in Las Vegas NV because it is the same state the people in the restaurant are very attentive but I feel the hostile environment that for some reason they feel and something that I realize does not matter what you want from the restaurant because I sense what restaurant it is but curiously you pay taxes on each and every one of the orders plus the extra tax that they charge for the entire order here MY curiosity is normal because I understand that vegetables and cheeses, ext creams are paid for each food but in a restaurant it is the same charge because it is manipulated in the kitchen I do not understand that is why I say even though it is tedious we have the pretty one at sunset and he clarified it is also Henderson NV Las Vegas NV and the price is quite affordable is my humble...

Rude always rude. EVERY time I go rude staff. They act like they're doing you a favor. Today the ladies in the kitchen threthened with charging for the salsa and garnishes i was packing for my 2 cabeza burritos.... " they might charge you if you take too much." I Answered, I will take just what I need. HOW MUCH IS TOO MUCH? 3 red little cups of red salsa? 3 little cups of green? 3 or cilantro and 3 of oniob? I took the 9 slivers of lime.... They were closing for the night and were gonna be dried by morning. You are willing to lose a customer over 2 little cups of salsa.... These ladies are hateful. Today the cashier was nice. She sounds Colombian. Normally all the cashiers are rude... I like cuevas but I HATE THEIR ATTITUDE. They should really invest in some customer service and have them understand that with out the business- there are no jobs in their spanish speaking...
