Purple Penguin Snowcone Shack — Restaurant in Henderson

While I love their snow cones and the ice cream mixture, their service is not good. I was here with my family, we ordered and we waited. And waited. And waited. Every single other person or group who came and ordered after us had gotten their frosty treats and we were still waiting. After basically every person who had come in after us was given their purchased items and we were still standing there I asked what was going on with our stuff. The girl asked what we ordered, we repeated it, and they checked the register to make sure we actually purchased them before they made them. Like....? Obviously I'm not gonna fault them for probably doing what they've been instructed to do, but why would I lie about ordering something and not getting it? Then they gave us spoons for our very large drinks... That were clearly meant for the smallest size of their treats. Been a customer for years. We were excited to cone downtown and get some dessert. But when we walked inside the store, we weren't greeted but we told by one of the staff: go outside and order There were other customers inside the store, they weren't told to leave. The girl at the outside window, seemed clueless. The scoops I received, were smaller than usual My wife's ice was not upto standard either. It was supposed to be light syrup, but syrup barely was on top 2 inches This is not the norm. I can only surmise that it's Saturday and the staff were trying to close and be able to walk out right at closing time. Previously had a great experience at Purple Penguin, but this time was a different story. Already on the more expensive side but my cup was 3/4 full including whip cream! So probably a little over half full of float. Tasted fine I guess, but for $4 nothing spectacular. The old guy behind the counter was rude and confrontational. I didnt hear them call out that my order was ready, he hastily came outside with his hands held up with an angry expression saying, "There you are. Want me to bring it out to you or??
