On 3/31/21, I was in the ER very sick. My daughter took my dog Billy and called an ambulance. Later that night I was released to my daughterâs care. She took me home and arranged for the retirement home to look in on me daily. On April 1, my daughter and her family flew to San Diego on vacation. When I heard from them, I wanted to know how and where to pick up Billy. That is when I learned that they had put him up for adoption on the 31st. My daughter said that because of spring break there were no openings at any of the boarding facilities. I wanted details about who adopted him. They did not know. I called the facility to see if I could learn Billyâs fate. They would not work with me in any way. My daughter also tried to contact them and they refused to do anything. BEWARE!!! When you give up an animal to these people, you are throwing them into a black hole and no records are kept. Also, there is no connection to the federal Humane Society. My next complaint will be to the IRS to see how their tax exemption is maintained and that they do not keep any records of adoptions. I am 77, sick. and very depressed over Billy. He was my whole life. The tears just...
Read moreThought this was a good shelter for my family that i have loved for 4 years but I was completely wrong. I work nights and drove after work to a place i picked out and chose out of many options . I became homeless and made a difficult decision that my family deserved more than living in a truck . I payed the 200 for a surrender fee and felt rushed by a man who looked like he could care less about his job . On my way home i was questioning if i made the right decision with tears in my eyes . realizing id rather move to another state to have them in my life and to be able to keep them was something that I didnt think about until it was to late . I rushed back to the facility and made it with under 10 min to closing. I told the man I made a horrible mistake and would even pay the adoption fees to have them back. That was a joke to him and he laughed . I didnt dispose of my family like they were nothing . Living and building a life with them for that many years and having it all ripped apart withing a month has been a really difficult time . I have hundreds of videos and pictures from them being puppys all the way to the last 5 min before I...
Read moreI love this place!!! Their thrift store is by far hands down the best thrift store I have ever been to. And I have been to many many thrift stores in every town and I've ever been through in any state I've ever been in and pause is my favorite from Pet Rescue. The merchandise that they have from theirs is all the quality there's nothing that is questionable to buy and everything is priced very very reasonably good best places I've ever seen for thrift stores with the quality of stuff you get. But they have awesome Wednesday and Saturday sales for $5 bag days. But it's not just any bag they have pre-made big huge almost garbage size bags that they need to fill up completely to the brim stuffed I only paid $5. The brands of clothing that I have found there are crazy ridiculous expensive and nice stuff and I paid like sometimes a penny for it on the $5 bag sales. Awesome super friendly staff Farms all the proceeds that they get from the store goes directly to the pets and the pet shelter. And that it's so much more worth shopping there than any other...
