Hermiston Cinema — Local services in Hermiston

It was better than our theaters that are close by but it was lacking in a couple areas. Service and cleanliness were great, and the concessions we're good. The issues came with the actual movie watching experience. Keep in mind I may be hyper critical about these things though. First, there was a seem down the middle of the screen almost like they had to replace half of it or something or whoever installed it didn't put the two pieces close enough together. This was noticable, by me, throughout the movie.

The other issue is the center subwoofer behind the screen is too close to the screen. Whenever there was that impactful rumbling bass I look forward to during an action sequence the screen would ripple from the bass vibrations like someone threw a rock in a calm pond. Probably something that could be rectified by pulling it back a little if they have space or even turning the speaker sideways so it isn't facing the backside of the screen. It was very distracting.

Lastly for some reason the audio volume during the actual movie was noticably quieter than the previews were so I feel like the sound was less moving than it would have been if it was louder. I understand movie theaters these days don't make much profit but the sound system could use an update to get with the times with features like Dolby Atmos. I have been going to this theater since it was first built. Overall a great theater. Staff have always been super helpful and friendly. Everything has always been kept clean. They have the best popcorn out of all the theaters nearby, and good snacks. In recent years i have not been to this much only because of the seating and a couple other things. It’s been years since the theater was first built. I really wish they would update the seating. Back then i didn’t really care but im 28 now and i don’t really want to be arm to arm, right next to a stranger. Would be nice to have seating where im not right next to somebody and i have leg room. The seats also aren’t the most comfortable. I start to get sore after sitting for an hour. Would also be nice if they added hot food options like chicken strips, fries, mini pizzas, things like that. The only time i go to this theater now is when i just want to watch something quick and don’t feel like driving to Kennewick. Overall this theater is a good option just wish they...

Give it a two stars because I went on a Tuesday to watch incredibles 2 then the lady said on the 2 row and she never mentioned if it was the bottom or the top but me thinking it was the top. So when we walked in the seats were all crowed and there were the at the bottom seats me personally couldn't stand in the bottom because I got dizzy so I went to ask the second lady if we could get a refund because the seats were to close and she said no beacsue there were a lot of people then lady on the right(the one who originally sold us our tickets )said" I told them no refunds" but I clearly rember she never told us anything so we had no choice but to go watch the movie at the bottom seats and I got even dizzyer because the movie had flashing events in the movie so after many years I was hoping to watch incredible 2 I did but I was in happy of my vist...
