I’d like to share our positive experience working with My Kitchen & Bath (Mary, Sam, and Claudio) over the past few months. We hired them to remodel the master bathroom, the kids’/guest bathroom, the basement bathroom, and generally finish the basement, including making small construction changes, such as removing a wall. We first met with Mary in November 2024 and were instantly impressed by her style, ideas, and vision. It took us several months to decide on the right contractor team, but when we committed in April, Mary was enthusiastic and excited to get started. We appreciated several aspects of My Kitchen & Bath’s business model: transparent pricing, excellent communication, willingness to work within our budget, and the relatively quick timeframe for our extensive project. After interviewing five companies, My Kitchen & Bath’s line-item approach made it easy to understand what was included in our quote, showcasing the clear value we would receive. Everything was clearly listed, leaving no ambiguity. Once we signed the contract, any changes were made via a formal change order, maintaining transparency in pricing and modifications. Another highlight was Mary’s vision, which closely aligned with ours. This saved us from spending entire weekends in tile shops or at Home Depot, especially during spring sports season with two active kids. The samples Mary pulled for us in the showroom were almost spot-on, requiring only minor tweaks to small fixtures. While we had the freedom to choose from any source, Mary’s selections saved us a lot of time and energy, ensuring we’d be thrilled with the results. The project began swiftly, within a few weeks, and as someone who works from home in a deadline-driven industry with limited job flexibility, it was important to me to have contractors who were respectful of me and my time. The crew was consistent, arriving on time and working long days, including some weekends and one holiday. Despite typical construction noise, I was able to work with minimal interruptions. They courteously informed me about water shut-offs, allowing me to prepare accordingly. Claudio and the construction team were respectful of my space, laying down plastic at the outset and covering it with a tarp daily to minimize dust and debris. All home improvement projects encounter challenges and the unexpected—and ours was no exception—but what matters is how they are handled. Sam maintained close contact via email and text, ensuring our satisfaction and often stopping by after hours to check on progress. The project concluded in just about 6 weeks, which was impressive given the scope: three bathrooms and a basement, including carpet installation and custom shower glass. When we discovered a small scratch in our custom glass that couldn’t be buffed out, Sam had it replaced without question. He was meticulous, identifying and correcting issues we hadn’t noticed. We would recommend My Kitchen & Bath without hesitation. The result is a spa-like master bath retreat (replacing 1980s/1990s originals), a double sink for the kids (less fighting??), bathroom ventilation where there was none previously, a finished basement bathroom, and a basement space perfect for entertaining our kids’ friends. Thank you, Mary, Sam, Claudio, and team!

We used My Kitchen and Bath (abbreviated below as MyKB) for a master bath project. We originally hoped to hire a design/build firm, but the prices sent us looking elsewhere. What differs here is that you don’t get a complete design, and a few questions remained unanswered (like how the laundry would fit in, for example). However, we agree that this extra thought and consideration was worth our while, when we consider that we paid less than half what we were quoted by a reputable design/build firm. Just know that this process may require you to be more active in dialing in the details of your project. Design Phase: The Design phase requires a lot of selection and input. It took us about 3 visits to come up with selections that we liked. The demo setups in the showroom were somewhat helpful to imagine how things would look in fuller implementation. It can be difficult to imagine what a whole room might look like as you gaze at a single tile. However, after a couple of false starts, we found a tile and cabinet combination we liked a lot. It was really helpful to see some of the images they had from other jobs they’d done. This phase ends when you sign a contract after selecting tiles, cabinets and agreeing on a design. Ultimately the design needs to be adapted based on what they find after construction begins. Fixture Selection Phase: After Contract Signing, the project manager comes by for detailed measurement. Concurrently, the contract/spec indicates a list of fixtures that are needed and, to purchase these, they referred us to the Ferguson showroom to go select parts. During the fixture selection process, we thought things through a bit further and found a need to revise the design and job to include modifications to another bathroom to accommodate those changes. MyKB quickly wrote up a change order and sent a docusign. Construction Phase: This is where MyKB really shines. Sam is a very pleasant project manager and ensures that the project can proceed smoothly. We interacted mostly by email and he was very responsive. Ricardo, our construction chief/foreman, is also a strong communicator and has fantastic attention to detail. I’d recommend both of them for hire. Overall, construction took between 2-3 weeks for our bathroom. Although dust spreading into the house is inevitable, Ricardo and team did a great job of trying to contain it and they keep the work site very neat and orderly. Ricardo was also really great about soliciting feedback prior to drilling holes for the placement of things. When the bathroom was substantially completed, they invited their glass company partners to come and measure. Glass installation required an additional waiting period of about 1.5-2 weeks. Overall, we feel that we got very good service from MyKB. We are thoroughly enjoying our new bathroom and very happy with the choices we made and the way it all turned out!

I highly recommend My Kitchen and Bath (MKB), specifically Josh Turgut (Senior Designer), and Sam Gulsoy (Project Manager) for anyone renovating their kitchen. We found MKB through Google. Josh came to our house to have an idea of what we want. He is extremely professional, and he listens to what you want done in your kitchen. After our initial meeting he proposed a couple of designs. We were shopping around with other companies. We could see the difference as to how Josh approaches and designs. Then we visited the showroom. He presented on his big screen computer so we can see how it will look. We asked him to propose colors, tile for the back splash, cabinet handles, wall paint color. We accepted all his suggestions. The showroom has all the cabinetry, flooring, tile, and hardware so we could actually see how everything come together. He was honest on how long the project would take and very attentive to the details. Josh Turgut is the person to work with if you want someone easy to work with, friendly, honest and creative in designing a kitchen. My kitchen was over 20 years and we practically gutted the kitchen and flooring of the first floor. We had one of the walls removed from an adjacent room to the kitchen to open more space. In the process, we had to change basement door entry allowing us to gain more space. We also had the tiles in the kitchen removed and replaced with hardwood flooring. During the construction phase the project manager, Sam Gulsoy was assigned to our project. Sam was on top of everything. Within a month after the contract is signed, all cabinets, tiles, hardwood floor all other material were ready in my garage. We shopped separately for the appliances. At every phase he informed us about the progress. He was the liaison between us and the workers. He was very easy to work with and I could tell his goal was to make us happy with the work. The construction team was first quality. They would come in groups of three or more workers every day and a few times there were six people working in the kitchen. I have been through many renovations and I will say this renovation went very smooth and efficient. We had minimal disruption in our lives. They completed the entire project within an amazing 3 weeks. Yes three weeks! This was way ahead of schedule, which is extremely rare these days. The output turned out to be amazingly luxurious and top quality. The finished product was above and beyond what I expected and I’m so happy with my new kitchen. Of course, one important aspect is the cost. They weren’t cheap but the price tag was within the range of other estimates we received. I think they deserve every penny they received!

Kitchen and Bath recently completed my master bath remodeling on time and on budget. The onsite manager, Eliseo Fuentes, showed extraordinary leadership in managing the project from start to completion. He did a thorough job from demolition to installation of new shower, tub, vanity and sinks, pantry closet, new heated floor, and beautiful tile and fixtures work. He organized his team and ensured he supervised the diverse workers who arrived on time to complete each of the 5 project stages. Eliseo worked extra time and took care to meet my customer needs and communicate with me directly to make sure each aspect of the project was consistent with the contract and met my on-the-ground expectations. The team executed a thorough clean up at the end of the project and took care to do no harm to our abode during the project. Eliseo is an outstanding expert on all aspects of bathroom remodeling--from electrical to plumbing work--and Kitchen and Bath is fortunate to have him on its team. Also, the project manager, Sam Gulsoy, provided excellent oversight of the entire bathroom re-modeling project from start to finish. He frequently stopped by the project to monitor and supervise the stages. He communicated updates and status changes via phone and email. He helped me select matching and workable products, such as major flooring and grout as well as solving any challenges that came up along the way. He maintained good records of the contract and always made sure there was an appropriate change order when we decided together that an adjustment needed to be made. Sam has amazing analytical skills for remodel projects and used them to ensure that the final brand new master bathroom is a joy to behold and use every day. Overall, this is the second project for which I retained Kitchen and Bath, and I would use them again too if need be. I can highly recommend Kitchen and Bath for future work as it is very reliable and finishes projects on time and on budget.

For our kitchen remodel, the Kitchen and Bath team was excellent and all work, including installation of new ovens and other appliances, countertops, back splash, and floors, proved to be of excellent quality. The team leader was outstanding. He proved thoughtful about the overall approach to kitchen remodeling, and used his analytical skills to solve each evolving challenge. His team was responsible and friendly and all clean up tasks were reliably finished when the work was done. I am happy to highly recommend My Kitchen and Bath. Also, the designer and support team were key to the success of the remodeling and provided sound input on all decisions and maintained consistent and useful communications during the project. Every step was transparently explained in advance and executed; yet the response was flexible and...
