I went to the electronic center today looking for a chrome cast. Because I couldn’t find it, I went to the counter (in the electronic center) to ask for help. There was a mother and son checking out and I waited behind them until they finished up about 5 or so minutes later. The two people leave and the guy that checked them out briefly looks at me and immediately took off as I was walking up to the counter. I assumed he had to grab something real quick because he very clearly saw me. But after 5 minutes passed I realized he wasn’t coming back. Instead, I could see him a couple of isles down near the phone cases. He wasn’t assisting anyone or talking to anyone. Two separate associates asked if I needed help while I continued to wait for assistance at the counter (this is also after I pushed the assistance button on the counter) and finally someone else came to help me. He conveniently emerged from the isle as soon as someone was helping me and very clearly began darting to the back employee only space/office while avoiding eye contact with me. The associate that was assisting me stopped him to inquire about the chrome cast since there were none in stock. As I’m standing right beside the employee, this man is again, very intentionally avoiding eye contact with me and is not acknowledging me in any way. I believe he was some sort of manager because his shirt was a lighter color red compared to the red shirts the other employees were wearing. This was not an accident. There is NO way this man did not see me. This was VERY intentional. And needless to say,...
Read moreThe selection here is great. The value is like that of any other Target, so reasonable. Other than that, the store is typically in disarray, e.g., clothes in heaps on the floor near the clearance section, boxes of clothes out near the plus size section and fitting room. The area that it's located typically has issues with panhandlers. One saw me leave the store and as I was buckling my seat belt in my car, they knocked on my window - this startled me, I reversed so quickly out of the spot without finishing the buckling. For some time, police have had to monitor the parking lots for exactly this. The team members are lacking as well. One team member was annoyed when I was searching a rack in the clearance section. Apparently, they and other team members were stocking the section during shopping hours and did not want me in the area - the member rolled their eyes and tersely said "excuse me". I got the message and walked away. Still fairly close to that area, I overheard that team member telling their coworker that was also stocking that section with them that they were sometimes petty with customers. This segued into the teammate detailing to the coworker a time they purposefully "misheard" a customer asking for the location of toothpaste and asking the customer to repeat themselves a number of times. I know retail is hard, but there's no excuse for unwarranted rudeness. It's unbelievable that Target would have such low hanging fruit...
Read moreI'm about as loyal a Target customer as one can be, but this is easily the worst Target location I've ever shopped in, which is disappointing since it's conveniently located. Tons, and I do mean TONS, of items are always out of stock, and will remain that way for days and WEEKS at a time (I have yet to see the jams/jellies slots at more than about 50% full). I will occasionally see one apathetic rep half-heartedly stocking, but usually I just see a float filled with boxes sitting in the middle of an aisle with no one around (once saw one full of frozen items that had CLEARLY all thawed out - gross). LOTS of food items out of date. Lots of items in the wrong places, meaning you're looking at the wrong price, or that online inventory levels are inaccurate. Heaven help you if you need assistance in one of the areas in the back, like furniture or home goods, because the phones rarely work, and even when they do, you'll stand there for 10+ minutes waiting for someone to show up. Staff has consistently been rude to us, with one or two exceptions. I've had staff stare at me at the self-checkout as though I were trying to steal and make no moves whatsoever to help me if I had issues with bagging, prices, etc. Products we frequently purchased would disappear from the shelves as "clearance," only to be replaced with....nothing.
I will continue to love Target, but I advise staying away from...
